That living in This House would be like living inside a black and white movie?

So bland, masculine but could be stunning with new decor

Eugh, it would be like living in a conference centre! I live miles away from anywhere in an old Georgian stone farmhouse. A wreck that we're doing up, but it has integrity & a soul of its own. Glad I'm not that rich!

I think it is horrible. And think of all the mess when there is no draining board!!!

Thank you! Aha, yes I get it.

The bear is on picture 11 not 12.

Okay, I give up - where is the teddy bear in picture 12?

Littlewhitebag - think you've hit the nail on the head there!!

The house is called Pymm's! I think the house must belong to a working class lad made good footballer who needed a posh sounding name for his house. He thought "what do posh people like? I know they like Pimms"

Bear future?? Near future, obviously.

That's just round the corner from me! Lots of very modern
soulless houses on that street. I think it looks a bit too interior designed? Certainly wouldn't buy it if I had that budget (not that that's likely in the bear future Grin).

Don't like it. Too much grey and the furnishings are a bit tacky.

Wow that is amazingly awful! Maybe lived in by vampires, tiny windows and all that plush velvet... Very rich vampires...

OP I think they keep tidy, with the staff they keep above the garage Wink if you look at the floor plan.

I love it!!!! But I couldn't live there with dp, he's far too messy.

But if I had that sort of money I could have it as my own private hideaway and just spend time lounging around on the beautiful sofas.

Outside the front door there are turd shaped trees.

I thought they'd put a sepia filter on when I got to the interiors.

TheBody Saturday morning house porn threads are almost as much of a MN tradition as Friday night drunk threads.

Mmm. Just asked DH and he quite likes bits of it. So I conclude it's Soviet Russia chic.

I would love to live there and put a huge vase of brightly coloured flowers in each room.

That would be amazing.

McFox · 15/03/2014 11:41

God that's horrific.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 15/03/2014 11:37

Wow, that's something else. I got to pic 5 and wondered why they'd taken a black-and-white photo, then realized it wasn't. Confused

Very creepy.

That is truly hideous. It's very nouveau (rich, not art!) without any soul whatsoever.

There's something else strange about it. The best feature of this eighties style monolith - those huge panoramic feature windows to the back...they are totally wasted. Check it out.

The photographer needs to learn how to take photos, those pictures are shit.
