Just that really. She is staying at the moment and everything is okey-frigging-cokey. I know I'm being intolerant and unreasonable but it's really irritating....

In what context on God's earth would anyone say 'cranking it up to the Pepsi max'?

Did anyone else wonder what he'd be like in bed?

tallwivglasses · 02/03/2014 10:02

My ex says 'Cool and the Gang'

ClaraFox · 02/03/2014 10:19

God.

I sometimes say ' cool in the pool ' and I always, always say 'ciao '

Is this bad?

Weathergames · 02/03/2014 10:19

Yes.

MintyChops · 02/03/2014 10:22

Yes Clara, it's bad!

MintyChops · 02/03/2014 10:40

I'm sorry Clara, you may be down with da kidz but if you say "cool in the pool" they will hold you under Wink

AwkwardSquad · 02/03/2014 10:41

I started saying 'scary biscuits' and I have no idea why. Drives my DP nuts. Which is fair enough, it's bloody awful.

ISeeYouShiverWithAntici · 02/03/2014 11:16

Clara. I guarantee your kids wish they could walk round like this

everythinghippie29 · 02/03/2014 11:19

Oh dear, do some of these myself.

I have to say I would find some of these very amusing to hear in everyday life.

"Cranking it up to the Pepsi Max" is halarious!

SunnyL · 02/03/2014 12:05

I say ciao! I think o
its ok now though cos I work with 2 Italian guys who think I'm just trying to be inclusive. Wink

Solo · 02/03/2014 12:14

I thought I was alone!!! Haha! I have a friend that I met up with after a long (2 decades) gap and am good friends with again. I soon had to tell him to please not say okey dokey. Now if it slips out, he apologizes! Grin

tinypumpkin · 02/03/2014 12:15

Surely it has to be cool beanz for maximum effect.

Cranking it up to the Pepsi max, agghhh.

Used2bthin · 02/03/2014 12:39

Oh I love cool in the pool and scary biscuits!

Used2bthin · 02/03/2014 12:40

oky coky jiggly poky! Laugh every time she does it - and tell her why. Its unfair that she can't know how ridiculous she is. And warn her if she utters the phrase again she can get the feck out of your house. Sorted.

Suzannewithaplan · 02/03/2014 12:50

So how can one avoid annoying others with one's 'catch phrases'?

Is it acceptable to have several and randomly rotate them, or should they only be used in certain circumstances?
