Blahdy crad peddlers make every other permutation.

There's a gap in the market.

LowCloudsForming · 28/02/2014 23:02

Go Blue Peter and make your own!

McSmoke · 28/02/2014 23:04

Mam is another which is difficult to get hold of.

WorraLiberty · 28/02/2014 23:05

Moonpig or all the other online card companies

LucyBabs · 28/02/2014 23:05

I want a MAM or MAMMY card. Fecking sick of Mum and Mummy. I'm Irish and it feels wrong Smile

YANBUR Op!

stickybean · 28/02/2014 23:08

PM me your address and I'll post you one from America Smile

ChaosTrulyReigns · 28/02/2014 23:09

But I don't want to create my own! I want to moan.

I want Mam too. And as a compromise I get 'mother' but they are getting harder and harder to get.

ComposHat · 01/03/2014 00:46

Are you a west midlander op?

If so, what say we set up an import a whole bunch of mom cards from the US to sell to West Midlanders.

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 01/03/2014 00:48

If you want a Mam one, get yourself to the North of England, I've noticed them in the card shops for the last couple of years.

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 01/03/2014 00:58

I'm in Canada. I'll swap you Mom/Mommy for a Mum/Mummy?

It's even on a different day here too.

YankeeMum8 · 01/03/2014 01:07

Come to the States. We have Mother, Mom, Nanna, and Mommy cards abound. I work in greeting cards. Grin

FarelyKnuts · 01/03/2014 01:10

How's about Mama? Or just to really mix it up, Mama? :o

FamiliesShareGerms · 01/03/2014 01:18

Try buying a card that says Mothering Sunday but isn't twee pink flowers suitable for a 94 year old

StarSwirl92 · 01/03/2014 01:57

oooh, looking for Mam cards gives me the rage Angry

Sangelina · 01/03/2014 06:11

You can buy Mam cards from a company called Geordie mugs. I have one!!

sykadelic15 · 01/03/2014 06:22

See and I want "Mum" cards and other paraphernalia here in the US!

SpottyTeacakes · 01/03/2014 06:26

I need two different cards. I want one for my step mum that doesn't have mum/mother etc written on it and one for my mum that doesn't say 'greatest mum ever/you've always been there for me' etc Angry

ChillieJeanie · 01/03/2014 06:28

Go and have a look at TheDogsDoodahs.com - you should be able to organise a Mom one from there. FamiliesShareGerms I think they have some non-twee Mothering Sunday ones too. They did last year anyway, that's where I got one for my Mum - we always do Mothering Sunday as well, and I loathe the OTT floral ones with the naf poems.

gamerchick · 01/03/2014 06:31

Why Would there be mom ones in the UK.. its not America?

You can get mam ones up here thankfully.

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 01/03/2014 06:40

Mom is widely used in the West Midlands, gamerchick. It's not just American. I live 20 miles from Birmingham & there are definitely "mom" cards available here.

lolalotta · 01/03/2014 06:40

There will be cards in Etsy but you will need to order now as must of the sellers are Amarican.

BuzzardBird · 01/03/2014 06:40

They already sell 'mom' and 'mommy' cards in w.mids, you just have to shop in indi shops to get them. (x greeting card agent)

wigglesrock · 01/03/2014 06:44

I noticed Mom ones in M&S yesterday, I saw them and thought "ooh Mumsnet will have a field day" Wink
