Bigger every time she appears on telly

Dawn porters bob is massive just watching her on 8 out of 10 cats and it's seems to have a life of it's own

Is she wearing a wig ?????

Well my hair is frizzy and greying but I've got no problem anyone pointing out its a right bloody mess!

morethanpotatoprints · 18/02/2014 16:08

Maybe it is due to the fact she had cancer at one point, lost all her hair and now she likes it big and full.
Poor woman, I think she's lovely.

AngelaDaviesHair · 18/02/2014 16:10

I don't know who she is or what she does. Summary, anyone?

LizLemonaid · 18/02/2014 16:13

I like her. Agree, enough blondes on tv.

KatieScarlett2833 · 18/02/2014 16:20

I love Ms O'Porter, let's face it she is so beautiful she can afford to have bad hair. Even when she lost her hair it made no difference. I ought to hate her for her perfection, but I can't, she's a good egg.

Sparkletastic · 18/02/2014 16:20

She hasn't had cancer or lost her hair. That was Gail Porter (alopecia not cancer). D's mother died of breast cancer and D made a documentary about breast cancer, but she was genetically screened and was clear.

Her hair is like a Persian cat. She looked better before she got so image obsessed.

SofaCanary · 18/02/2014 16:21

She had cancer?

LizLemonaid · 18/02/2014 18:11

Wasnt that Gail Porter?

kennyp · 18/02/2014 18:14

if my hair was suddenly like dawnies my children would piss themselves laughing. i like her husband though - him eating a fly on graham norton was bloody brilliant.

i can't bear joe wilkinson, if the thread is still about 8 out of 10 cats.

SofaCanary · 18/02/2014 19:20

I was thinking that too, Liz but I'm sure Gail Porter lost her hair through alopecia not cancer.

SofaCanary · 18/02/2014 19:30

Sorry, didn't see Sparkletastic's post Blush

LucilleBluth · 18/02/2014 20:22

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea..............Sponge Bob Square Hair.

NinjaBunny · 18/02/2014 20:34

i can't bear joe wilkinson, if the thread is still about 8 out of 10 cats.

Me neither. Each week 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown is ruined by him trying to be funny and failing.

You can see the other cast/staff looking pissed off by him. Rachael Riley looks plain uncomfortable around him.

I really don't see the appeal of him.

CrockedPot · 18/02/2014 21:14

its very, very shiny, but I noticed the largeness of it and thought that if that's what you get from LA hairdressers I'd rather pop down to 'Curl up and Dye' and come out looking halfway normal.

Millylulu · 06/08/2014 07:42

Are you women for real?! If this is what having a baby does to supposedly "intelligent" women quite frankly I'm disgusted! You should all take a very long hard look at yourself slagging off an intelligent woman just because YOU don't like her hair or the fact she put and O in her surname?! Get a grip! I would be proud for my daughter (if I ever have one!) to look up to someone like Dawn who promotes positive body image and just generally seems lovely. I'm sure you horrible lot would rather your children aspire to have good hair over anything else! Absolutely pathetic!

ithoughtofitfirst · 06/08/2014 08:01

Love her hair... so shiny... drool.

InkleWinkle · 06/08/2014 08:12

Millylulu - this thread is 6 months old.

And quite a lot of Mumsnetters have not had a baby.

Ninjabread · 06/08/2014 08:25

Her hair is magnificent but she is a little smug, no?

Millylulu · 06/08/2014 08:58

Why does it matter that it's 6 months old - all the horrible posts were still posted and I'm sure all the posters are just as vile!

Eauneau · 06/08/2014 10:02

Is that you Chris? Grin

Millylulu · 06/08/2014 10:23

Lol x

Wink
Longtalljosie · 07/08/2014 07:30

Do you know what, after all she's been through with alopecia she can style it into the Eiffel Tower as far as I'm concerned. I'm just sincerely happy for her that it's there. I have a friend suffering from alopecia and it's hideous Sad

Longtalljosie · 07/08/2014 07:31

Oh bollocks I'm getting my people confused aren't I? Blush

LoxleyBarrett · 07/08/2014 07:38

Am I alone in not knowing who she is?

Thebodyloveschocolateandwine · 07/08/2014 07:47

I had to google her as no idea who she was?

She looks ok. Can't see the fuss.
