Dawn porters bob is massive just watching her on 8 out of 10 cats and it's seems to have a life of it's own

Generally I like her bob and her vintage style, I totally get it. But last night her hair did look a bit "odd".

This caused a lot of tweets around the program which she and her husband attacked back last night quite strongly.

it didn't look odd, blimey can guess none of you lot did much experimenting with your own hair, did none of you live through the 80s

Actually it was mainly men that were bitching on twitter about her hair last night, posting pics of Gwendoline in Wallace & Gromit etc.

I counted up the tweets and the majority of nasty comments were from men. It still didn't stop her husband agreeing with a comment that it was "snakes with tits" and commenting that bitches are bitching.

Incidentally my DH was in the Army for 24 years and some of the men he worked around were the most judgmental and bitchy gossips I've ever come across.

Personally I choose my friends by their intelligence, sense of humor and shared values rather than their genitals, but hey, it's horses for courses.

I used to have a bob in tbe 80's. Every time I went to the hairdressers,she spent ages drying it, with a round brush, so it sat out like a helmet. I wanted it to be all flippy flappy Louise Brookes style..
Maybe she went to my hairdresser.
Or she came on a motorbike and put a wig on top of the helmet to save time.

As an aside I spent years think Dawn and Anna Richardson were the same person.

The hair wasn't that bad - it was the big bump in it from the blow drying that looked bit funny but I liked the bouffant. Her and Chris seem nuts about each other.

I love Claudia Winkleman - she dresses brilliantly - but the eyeliner is out if control as getting way too smudged. She looked like I did attempting to do grunge in the 90s.

What I didn't like on 8 out of 10 cats was the racist Polish joke and everyone finding that hilarious which didn't stir up any reaction on twitter.

In my experience none of male friends could ever be arsed bitching about how a woman has had her bloody hair blow dried. Especially not a woman as gorgeous as the one in question. I think some of the posters on here claiming that the majority of people bitching about her were male doth protest too much. To be honest I wouldn't spend much time with anybody who wastes time bitching about people they don't know on Twitter any way. can somebody PLEASE explain to me what the fucking point of Twitter is any way?!

I only just saw her for the first time ever on 8 Out of Ten Cats, a show which relentlessly rips the piss out of anyone and everyone ...... it's a great show …I always had the impression that those who appeared on it were up for a bit of ribbing themselves, but perhaps not then!

K8middleton - erm, by 'spending time', I mean actually face to face. You know, real life. And you only quoted half of my sentence. I really really like her. Love the documentaries she does; she's got lots of front, not afraid to ask outlandish questions.

Her Bob is usually fabulous - I love it.. the hair on 8 Out of 10 Cats last night was not fabulous though - far too volumous (sp?) in a bad way.

However - it has made her newsworthy today, so not all bad then!
