Bigger every time she appears on telly

Dawn porters bob is massive just watching her on 8 out of 10 cats and it's seems to have a life of it's own

Is she wearing a wig ?????

Her hair is so shiny! For that I'm quite envious

themessyapron · 17/02/2014 22:57

I think they are prob both nice people but I think it's weird how they want to tell strangers so much about their private life. I would never broadcast this kind of stuff www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2198580/Chris-ODowd-tweets-stunning-pic-lingerie-clad-Dawn-Porter.html

HandMini · 17/02/2014 22:57

Hmmm, nothing THAT crazy came back from a Google search. Perhaps you had to see The Hair performing on TV to appreciate it. I like her hair in pics actually, tho ocassionally it is too blocky round the sides. And Jeez....fringes, they must be a lot of work.

LadyStark · 17/02/2014 22:57

I was being lighthearted...

but, Chris O'Dowd makes a good point. Men never give a shit about anyone else's hair. I would love to see one thread on a men's forum slagging off another man's hair.

ExcuseTypos · 17/02/2014 22:58

TeamEdward, it was a bit like that but bigger.

It looked like she had left some rollers in that we couldn't see. So the bit above her ears was so outie. I cant explain. It was just odd.

magentastardust · 17/02/2014 22:59

It isn't just a bob with a fringe to be fair-it is an extra , extra, extra wide bob with a fringe which has purposely been widened to look like that.

It is also amazingly shiney-and she is lovely , but bad hair can happen to good people.

ExcuseTypos · 17/02/2014 22:59

I love that one of their wedding.

themessyapron · 17/02/2014 22:59

If they have kids do you think they'll hyphenate the name? So Rex Honeypot Ermentrude O'Porter-O'Dowd? Or O'Porter-Dowd? Or maybe O'Powd.

K8Middleton · 17/02/2014 23:00

Enthusing about bum wiping while not giving a second thought to the nations drains.

I hope it was worth it Dawn.

themessyapron · 17/02/2014 23:00

Nah Lady... If a man had comedy hair I reckon we would comment

themessyapron · 17/02/2014 23:01

Quite nice hair though in that one k8

magentastardust · 17/02/2014 23:02

Bumpits! That's what they are called-she looks like she has put bumpits in the sides.

HandMini · 17/02/2014 23:02

Men might not slag off another man's hair, but women may well slag off a man's hair. (In fact I have definitely read a Boris / hair / horror thread on MN.... and some balding threads). So in that respect, aren't we treating men and women equally?

Yes, it's the wideness of her bob that makes it look fake.

K8Middleton · 17/02/2014 23:02

She's also coordinated dress with the tiles in the lav.

I like her hair :) just not the sponsored enthusing about moistness

ExcuseTypos · 17/02/2014 23:05

cdn3.independent.ie/incoming/article29166985.ece/ALTERNATES/h342/161486408-dawn-porter-attends-the-elle-style-awards-at-gettyimages.jpg

It was like this, the same length but much more volume, it was if she was hiding something in there! Like a donut.

notso · 17/02/2014 23:05

The thing with the name is she would be Dawn O'Dowd otherwise and it's a bit 'D-ey'.

I think people do comment on men's hair. Women didn't invent phrases like "slaphead" after all. Grin

But to now be tweeting about bitches being bitches and agreeing with "snakes with tits" comments is quite undignified.

I think you need to be careful on Twitter, as someone mentioned the whole personal life being tweeted is a bit much, even though I think they are a decent couple. They should close this window IMHO.

magentastardust · 17/02/2014 23:12

Snakes with Tits ?

themessyapron · 17/02/2014 23:13

I hate that 'I'm only getting shit because I'm a WOMAN' stuff when no, it's just because your hair is a bit rubbish.

And yes, her husband is now saying 'haha' to something about 'snakes with tuts' and bitches bitchin'

So it's not ok to criticise a woman's but it's cool to talk in derogatory language like that?

I've suddenly gone right off them!

themessyapron · 17/02/2014 23:14

Oh and sarah millican has sympathised with Dawn. Now there's a woman who just isn't funny don't care about what she looks like
