To ask, is Jim Davidson really a nice man?

I was just chatting with OH here and I said I quite liked him on CBB. Apart from a few questionable remarks to Casey he seems a reasonably nice guy. OH reckons he has a bad reputation. Is this true? If so why?

However vile he may or may not be I don't think we should be speculating that because he wasn't charged under Operation Yewtree it was cause they " couldn't make it stick" .Be careful..that case is a minefield...

Never met him but went with my parents to view his house back in the late 80's it was very OTT lots of gold & marble everywhere!! Unfortunately I had the misfortune of having to socialize with the 'comedian' Jimmy Jones who was a very similar type act to JD ... They had a feud going as they Accused each other of stealing each other's material.... Should have done us all a favour & kept the material to themselves!!!

He's coming across well in CBB for the most part. I remember him from the 80s and I don't like him at all.

I don't watch BB, but I haven't got a clue why he wasn't the first evicted. I always remember him on Hells Kitchen. His treatment of Brian Dowling was very uncomfortable to watch. He was a vile bully. I don't know why he's given air time.

I once dumped a seemingly 'nice' guy I was seeing as he cited JD as a hero! He also gave me a gift of a video called red, white and very blue. It was fucking horrible.

I think the producers planned for him to win from start. A kind of reward for his involvement in the scandal. To help his career go back on track.

So he gets public back on side. So he doesn't draw further negativity back to him.
