To not mind paying the TV licence fee?

There's been quite a lot of good TV over the 4 BBC channels and I relish a film on BBC without ads. Per day it isn't much too pay and I'd rather pay the BBC than Sky. Am I alone?

i haven't got a telly anywhere in the house

i could genuinely not pay my license fee, but i do for two reasons

1. i watch and listen to a lot on i player, I also think bbc is ( for the most part) great

2. i really want to keep something alive that is not in the hands of a large magnate, who has political pull and can control politicians and what people think through the use of their vast media empire

However. the bbc are pissing me off for a couple of reasons - those who don't pay the license fee and tell them so are literally hounded for years

the top people in the organisation get paid way too much, way way too much

It's a bargain for R4 every waking hour.

Except for Woman's Hour - that I resent.
