And I've just installed it on my IPad and the damn thing's stuck!

I'm trying to burn two skeletons and they won't die!

I'm not feeling the love for DK I only have 2 imps amd it's taking them 24 hours to dig through rock. Even DS is refusing to play it Where am I going wrong?

I only have 2 too.

I have won a few skirmishes and built some rooms but it is very very slow.

Telltale make adventure games - Sam & Max, Back To The Future, The Walking Dead, etc.

The Monkey Island games can be played through ScummVM, or the remakes released a couple of years ago.

GOG do some great old stuff, and a lot of it is coming to Steam as of late.

Double Fine (Day of the Tentacle) are making the game Broken Age, which is supposed to be good (if short - there's a part 2 coming).

Just updating peeps to say that I've just completed www.gonehomegame.com/ which was very interesting. Not your usual adventure game at all. Full of atmosphere as you explore the secret lives of a family.
