ISeeYouShiverWithAntici · 18/01/2014 17:48

if we didnt have people desperate to pile in, we wouldnt find announcements of 'lighthearted'

I'd rather torture the ones roaming round looking for stuff to get their knickers in a knot about.

Sparklingbrook · 18/01/2014 17:48

YABU. Unfortunately due to all the PO and people with complete sense of humour failure it is often necessary.

DrNick · 18/01/2014 17:48

thats me right? Sad

OP posts:
TheNightIsDark · 18/01/2014 17:49

You have to put now for all the PO fuckers Hmm

picnicbasketcase · 18/01/2014 17:50

Am I being unreasonable to think that bunnies are kittens are the cutest things in the whole shiny twinkling universe? (Heavy serious debate with shin kicking and verbal abuse)

thornrose · 18/01/2014 17:50

I think it's a shame people feel they have to say it. So many threads get taken far too seriously, it's bloody exhausting!

SecretRed · 18/01/2014 17:50

I've seen people post lighthearted threads before and get completely taken the wrong way (sounds v rude!) by posters with zero sense of humour.

Sparklingbrook · 18/01/2014 17:51

Its is virtually impossible to have a lighthearted AIBU.

DrNick · 18/01/2014 17:52

but thats the best EVER, when threads go wrong
POster " hahah I look really chavvy in this pale pink lurex trim jacket"

OMG HOW DARE YOU SAY CHAV

i love that

OP posts:
DrNick · 18/01/2014 17:52

and the issue with her apparel is never dealt with

OP posts:
meditrina · 18/01/2014 17:53

No, don't put "(lighthearted)"

If you are funny enough it's not necessary and if you're not, a caveat won't make it OK.

OP: what form of torture were you thinking of?

DrNick · 18/01/2014 17:55

i am thinking industrial shipping container

in the desert with no shade.

I may have over thought this Your Honour

OP posts:
HoneyDragon · 18/01/2014 17:55

(This is a vaguely whimsical thread and probably unsuitable for all you ploddingly bitter bastards who want to put the boot in)

Takes longer than

(Lighthearted)

YouStayClassySanDiego · 18/01/2014 17:56

light hearted is from a poster nervous that the thread may be misinterpreted and therefore planning in advance.

what torture were you thinking of??

UsedToBeNDP · 18/01/2014 17:56

I'd just go straight for beheading

DrNick · 18/01/2014 17:58

we could activate this guy

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 18/01/2014 18:00

Perhaps put the PO/ SOH failure people in the shipping container?

westl · 18/01/2014 18:02

YABU

There are too many grumpy fuckers about. You have to specify when you're joking now. It's tiresome.

ISeeYouShiverWithAntici · 18/01/2014 18:09

You? Oh god no. Did it read like that? Blush

I meant those who actually do the pitchfork and flaming torch thing on clearly jokey threads.

the 'how very dare you, dont you know its not FUNNY to boil your mils head in the chicken soup she keeps bringing round, I feel sorry for your kids' brigade.

SparklyTwinkleGlitter · 18/01/2014 18:13

What does PO mean? I understand SOH failure but not come across PO anywhere. Ta.

DrNick · 18/01/2014 18:14

and remember NEVER EVER SLAG OFF YOUR MATES on mn

OP posts:
Panzee · 18/01/2014 18:16

YANBU, at least you've got a light heart. Spare a thought for those with heavy hearts, or no hearts at all. You'll miss your light heart when it's gone, etc etc.

Sparklingbrook · 18/01/2014 18:17

Professionally offended Sparkly.

How do you mean DrNick? About slagging off your mates?
