To ask what women REALLY think about sex/men

northnorfolkrenegade · 10/01/2014 09:52

I've NC'd for this, because quite frankly I find it a bit embarrassing to ask but at the same time it's something I've wanted to know all my life.

And sorry that it's a little base, but hey MN is hardly known for being shy and retiring let's face it...plus it's a friday so I think I can safely let rip.

I'm a bisexual guy, and essentially I feel about guys exactly the same way I do about women. I'm turned on with my eyes, I'm turned on by naked guys, and I think the penis (in either state!) is a beautiful thing, and I find it a massive turn on to see, touch and do everything else with it.

Apart from what I've gleaned from the odd womens' mag (which would seem to suggest the opposite to how I've described my attraction), I really have no idea how women feel about men/sex (and yes penises) if that makes sense, and I just find it hard to get my head around the fact that we're both into the same thing, but in presumably totally different ways!

So anyway I just thought I'd ask. Smile

So, what does the hive mind think? I'd have to wait for the other wimmenz to speak up to know what I think about it all. :)

TheBigJessie · 10/01/2014 10:06

Hive mind thinks they don't want to be quoted in the Independent.

Tom Peck gets disgusted by women TTC

ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 10/01/2014 10:08

Oh I quite like willies........ugly things tho and I think you're overthinking being the owner of a willy.

PaulMcGannsMistress · 10/01/2014 10:11

I don't mind being quoted Grin Penises are lovely. No more ugly than the female genital organs. Which aren't ugly either. It's just organic tissue that does fun things...

Starballbunny · 10/01/2014 10:17

I don't think anything about cocks, unless you go looking for porn you don't see any that don't belong to your DP.

Having married the only man I've ever slept with I haven't seen many.

When floppy they seem pretty comical, erect I'm sure they'd be sexy, but society deems anything that might turn a woman on like that, hard porn. Where as breasts can be in any magazine.

Joysmum · 10/01/2014 10:19

I think a good place to start is by reading lots of threads in the relationships section.

I don't feel one way about men physically or my husband and sex. Sometimes it's pure lust, mostly it's an expression of closeness. A lot of it is enjoyment and being satisfied, however I love to watch my hubby and see him being satisfied.

When I look at him in lust mode, I see him in a purely selfish way as the thing to satisfy me. When I look at him as my other half, I see the most beautiful, handsome, attractive and amazing person in the world stood there and my heart melts every time.

I don't think cocks themselves are nice to look at (which is why most women on contact sites tend to go for profiles which don't just have cock pics!) but I do think other parts of the body are more beautiful. The curve of a back, broad shoulders, a torso (apart from the usual answer of nice eyes and arse which the majority of women seem to be the main draw). However, I do find the female form extremely beautiful, although not fanjos!

I guess for me, whether it's now I'm in a long term marriage, or back in my single days, it was never about lustful sex first. Sex for me has always been about expressing feelings and if hubby and I are going through a patch of being more distant then I don't want sex. Hubby says sex for him is about getting close. Interestingly if he feeling we are drifting, he sees sex as his way to regain closeness whereas I see closeness as foreplay and nothing happens otherwise!

A penis is a slightly unattractive but functional thing. A bit like a coffee machine. Though you probably wouldn't put a penis on your kitchen work top.

You may quote me on P&B.

MammaTJ · 10/01/2014 11:00

My Gran, who had five children, always said that mens bodies were funny. She must have been laughed in to bed! Grin

I think I may agree, f you overthink it, they look really funny but they are really fun.

Thisisaghostlyeuphemism · 10/01/2014 11:02

Sometimes I'm partial to a penis.

Sometimes I'd prefer to go to sleep.

How did I do?

FortyDoorsToNowhere · 10/01/2014 11:20

I like a PC ( plastic cock) it's always there when I need him.

FortyDoorsToNowhere · 10/01/2014 11:21

FortyDoorsToNowhere · 10/01/2014 11:21

PaulMcGannsMistress · 10/01/2014 11:22

You got the wrong one then :)

PaulMcGannsMistress · 10/01/2014 11:26

Tried a couple. Just wasn't as much fun. Saw the fella in the pic a few years ago on telly. "Sometimes we use one, sometimes we use the other, sometimes we use both" Grin

AngelaDaviesHair · 10/01/2014 11:26

Well, you can forget everything you've ever read in a women's magazine for starters. I've read a lot of them, and never come across anything on sex that struck me as thoughtful or authentic.

Not keen on being quoted in your article (keeping my MN username pure, don't you know) so I shan't share my personal thoughts on the questions in the OP.

elQuintoConyo · 10/01/2014 11:50

Lordy FortyDoorsToNowhere my eyes!

I like gentlemen's vegetables.
I like sex with gentlemen's vegetables (one at a time, rather boringly!).
Gentelmen's vegetables are sexy.

Do I win a prize??

LadyBeagleEyes · 10/01/2014 12:07

Pies and Bovril still around then?
Op, why do you lot keep coming here, is your own site really that boring?

squoosh · 10/01/2014 12:11

Yippee for Penee

SoleSource · 10/01/2014 12:20

I think men view sex as they view doing a poo if they're not in love with their sexual partner.

LadyBeagleEyes · 10/01/2014 12:23

Have just read another thread on here where men are taking up to an hour doing a poo, I honestly think they find it preferable, Sole
