Sat in the staff room tucking into a kiwi, like you do, or rather like I do...chomping it like an apple. Everyone was horrified! Apparently you eat it with a spoon like a boiled egg... I can see why, the skin is minging but I alwa?s thought it was worth it for the delicious flesh. My family all eat it that way, never occurred to me there was anything odd about, I thought it was just the way it had to be done.

I'm really paranoid now there are other things I'm doing that are weird and disgusting. Please post your own experiences so I can tick them off the list.

I like stuffing on crumpets.

HepsibarCrinkletoes · 11/01/2014 16:24

Spread aforementioned hard butter packs on fish fingers. Still do that 25 10 years after leaving school..

Wombmates · 11/01/2014 16:29

''I Wikipedia the plots and endings of movies and TV shows as I'm watching them

Sometimes if there is a really good twist and I've read about it twenty minutes before I see it I get a bit pissed off that I've missed out

And yet I still do it hmm grin''

OMG! - I thought I was the only one that did this. Thank you...

If I am eating and on the computer at the same time, I also Google what I am eating whilst I eat it - I have no idea why. I think it stems from my food obsession.... :) Not disgusting, but really weird...

I paint my arms with white glue and peel it off sometimes and I love love peeling off my/other people's peely skin after sunburn...

I eat Shippams sardine and tomato paste out of the jar with a baby spoon which actually makes my mother urge. She thinks I do it to upset her....Grin

do you suppose there is any help for people like us? :)

weebleswillwobble · 11/01/2014 16:35

My favourite snack is raw onion, cut in half, which I then peel apart and snap into pieces, dip in salt and wash down with whole milk. Yum! No-one else thinks so, though!

BriarRainbowshimmer · 11/01/2014 16:50

Aww, taking a chicken to snuggle with in bed sounds really cute. Not the poo part though.

I don't think I do something particularly weird or disgusting, which worries me. I'm probably doing it without even knowing!

I have enjoyed having jacuzzis with my Golden Retriever dogs.

HepsibarCrinkletoes · 11/01/2014 17:44

everlong I have often thought you and I are actually just the one person. Your last post does nothing to disprove this fact. Grin

JellicleCat · 11/01/2014 17:49

I chew cod liver oil capsules. Tastes delish, but have never found anyone else who thinks so.

I also read on the loo.

I hold my pen really weirdly, apparently - not between my thumb and index finger, but literally in my entire first at a weird angle. The irony is, I have really neat handwriting.

I also unpick all the labels from clothes as soon as I get them - I can't bear them!

TwoTeaTessie · 11/01/2014 20:04

EBearhug I thought I was the only one who did this. My DC look at me as if I'm nuts when I do it!

HappilyChatterly · 11/01/2014 21:06

Oh flip, thought of another, I'm such a weirdo. I like to hold ears, to get all the cold off them...

I always eat all of an apple, sometimes even the stalk. I cannot leave any Haribo in a packet, so have awful, dreadful teeth now. I have to have Henderson's Relish on peas: how does anyone eat them without? Oh, and eggs taste best with some kind of chilli sauce on them: Encona on scramblies, Tabasco on boiled, either on fried.

But I don't know how anyone can eat a kiwi fruit with the skin on or a whole raw onion. Doesn't it hurt? I have eaten kiwi fruit skin and it was like eating a hedgehog: the prickles stuck into my tongue. And onions make my cry rivers. How does that not happen to you?

honeybeeridiculous · 11/01/2014 21:26

pootling I always read magazines from back to front Grin

I love golden syrup on Yorkshire puddings

HoratiaDrelincourt · 11/01/2014 21:32

I saw a "dear God no" on FB where someone had emptied a bag of Skittles and a bag of M&Ms into a single bowl.

Incredible. DH and I fought over them.

springadorspringybum · 11/01/2014 21:35

i keep lots of things in my bra, my record is a few keys, tub of Vaseline, phone, bank card or two, lighter and packet of cigarettes ( when i smoked!)
only if something is at a funny angle would you know it is there.
many of times i take my bra of at night and shit loads of stuff that i had lost earlier in the day falls out! and many a time i will run around house looking for keys or phone to find them in my bra!

Octopus37 · 11/01/2014 22:02

I eat a kiwi fruit like an apple as well, not made about the skin but the other way is too much trouble. But then again, I do have a husband who has been known to eat things out of the bin

EmperorTomatoKetchup · 11/01/2014 22:21

I either run up the stairs holding my boobs or go up on all fours!

I Wiki TV as I'm watching it, have to do it surreptitiously though as it drives DH mad..I then have to pretend to be really surprised by the plot twists. I also often read the last page in a book, I just have to know what's going to happen..

Often eat chocolate for breakfast, my colleague was appalled when I offered her a malteser as it was only 9:30am. I often eat random stuff at any time of day though, can never understand why people think it's odd to eat cereal for dinner

peanutbutterandbanana · 11/01/2014 22:29

Definitely agree with sausages and marmalade combo. Also marmalade with any kind of egg (fried, boiled, poached, scrambled) - DIVINE!

mintberry · 11/01/2014 23:11

It has never occurred to me to eat a kiwi whole before... I peel them usually. Maybe I'll try it though to see if it's bearable, because skin usually has the most vitamins in.

In context of Schokolade's post, I realise that this will make me sound like Hannibal Lector...

isitnormal · 11/01/2014 23:59

Emperor, your post could have been written by me.

I often have to hold my boobs when going up stairs. I even catch myself doing it at the gym sometimes and get very strange looks - I still maintain there's not a single sports bra out there that will support my humungous norks properly!

I wiki everything on TV as I'm watching it - how old the actors are, what their wives look like and yeah, the plots too. Blush I drove DP mad when we started watching Battlestar Gallactica and I announced who all the cylons were which you're not meant to find out until many series's later!

I too eat random stuff at all times of the day. This morning I had cadbury's mini eggs for breakfast and I'm quite partial to downing pints of fruit juice in the middle of the night. Smile

ChrisMooseMickey · 12/01/2014 00:20

I eat peanut butter sandwiches with my chilli con carne and rice. On the side, like. Larvely Smile

DH Will have cream, ice cream, AND custard with his pudding
