Sat in the staff room tucking into a kiwi, like you do, or rather like I do...chomping it like an apple. Everyone was horrified! Apparently you eat it with a spoon like a boiled egg... I can see why, the skin is minging but I alwa?s thought it was worth it for the delicious flesh. My family all eat it that way, never occurred to me there was anything odd about, I thought it was just the way it had to be done.

I'm really paranoid now there are other things I'm doing that are weird and disgusting. Please post your own experiences so I can tick them off the list.

I put lots of things in my bra. With massive boobs you can't even see I've got anything in there. Me and my other GG cup friend would hide mini vodka bottles in there when going to festivals in our student days!
If I'm on though I'll just grab my bag. I don't care if anyone knows I'm on my period.

peanutbutterandbanana · 11/01/2014 13:34

Owning up to also using my bra as a handbag. So glad I am not alone. Phone goes in there with headphones hanging out so that I can listen to my audio books easily. This morning I went for a walk and put my car key (removed from keyring) on the other side. Perfect.

Have had some odd looks when phone lit up (pre having a a case for it) and a light shone through my clothing from breast area (when a text came through), as if I was an alien sending out a message to my alien pals! Did feel a bit embarrassed and shortly after like immediately bought a cover for the phone Grin.

Does anyone here know if phones can be that close to breast tissue without causing problems down the line?

Best sandwich in the world is peanut butter with grated carrot (despite my MN name - I also love banana with PB but think that is a normal combination). I get some very odd looks when I produce that at work, or anywhere.

peanutbutterandbanana · 11/01/2014 13:42

And following on from that.... last summer I was sunbathing on holiday in Spain with the phone resting inside my costume so that I could listen to my audio book. An urge came over me to jump in the pool as I was baking. Completely forgot that I had phone resting between boob and costume and only noticed when I saw headphones trailing after me in the pool ......... so that was the end of my iphone (until teenage DS told me to put it in a bag of rice for two days to dry it out - it worked!).

99redbafoons · 11/01/2014 13:47

Yes, yes to the poster who said they have vinegar on crisps! Thought it was only my family that did this! Try it on cheese and onion crisps too (walkers preferably) it's bloody delicious! We also as a family have raw onion and cucumber in a bowl of vinegar to use as a condiment on roast beef - lush.

I too stand up to wipe my bum.

I have chips, gravy and mayo.

My best friend can't eat a meal unless he has a bit of everything on the plate in each mouthful. So for example, if he has fish, chips and peas he has to have a bit of each with every bite...he can't just eat a chip for instance. Weirdly, he always ends the meal evenly....

Positively vomming in my mouth at the dog/toddler toast sharing - that's beyond vile. Confused

Lizzabadger · 11/01/2014 14:18

My mum also has raw onion and cucumber in vinegar with roast beef. Not sure if it is a Danish thing (my Grandma is half Danish) or a Yorkshire thing or neither.

Lizzabadger · 11/01/2014 14:23

I have on occasion taken a chicken into bed with me to cuddle.

Cheesyslice · 11/01/2014 14:36

lizza An actual chicken? Do they enjoy cuddles? Confused

OhGood · 11/01/2014 14:46

scottish ewww all those people spending all night wallowing in their day dirt... night bathing is best!

OpalQuartz · 11/01/2014 14:48

Ha ha at "Do they enjoy being cuddled?" I'm imagining a chicken tolerating being cuddled, but with an impatient look on it's face"

Lizzabadger · 11/01/2014 14:52

Yes - depends on the chicken but some of them tolerate/"like" it and even fall asleep! Some of them poo on you though. Has led to complaints when I've had male company...

FunLovinBunster · 11/01/2014 14:52

kit kat and ready salted crisps. eaten together. bloody lovely.

wontletmesignin · 11/01/2014 14:57

Haha chickens in the bed. Ive heard it all now. I never thought for one second id hear of somebody sleeping with a chicken. Im not sure if its cute or not Hmm Grin

MB34 · 11/01/2014 14:58

I like my tea strong with lots of milk - apparently this is weird. No-one can seem to fathom what I mean Confused I think it's pretty straight forward.

Oh and to the poster early on who said they drive with their hands at 10 and 2 - it's not weird just common sense - if you have a crash, it's easier to control the car with your hands in this position than in any other!

Cheesyslice · 11/01/2014 14:58

lizza that's amazing. Never seen chickens as being creatures to snuggle up to.

opal I'm also imagining a scowling chicken Grin

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 11/01/2014 15:06

I usually drive with hands at 10 to 2 because that's how I was taught. I do slip a bit to quarter to three on occasions if I'm being sloppy.

Sometimes shower before bed although usually in the mornings.

What I could never ever do is eat the skin of a Kiwifruit, or eat it lie a boiled egg come to that.
I peel them and slice thinly like I do with peaches.

Am I the weird one then?

HepsibarCrinkletoes · 11/01/2014 15:14

I will only eat sausages with marmalade. Ever. No marmalade available, no sausage will be eaten.

DoYouLikeMyBaubles · 11/01/2014 15:16

I put salt and pepper on my toast

MB34 · 11/01/2014 15:28

Mothership I thought I was the only 'grown up' in the world who doesn't like wine. Now there are two of us!

I don't like beer, lager, bitter, ale and most spirits either

I am partial to a baileys and vodka milkshake though!

SauceForTheGander · 11/01/2014 15:40

Hepsibar I was about to ask if you might have boarded?

Wink
HepsibarCrinkletoes · 11/01/2014 15:46

Indeed I did Sauce Grin

Biedronka · 11/01/2014 15:49

To those eating raw onion and vinegar - try adding some chopped pickled gherkin too - delish.

I always drink Baileys with milk and ice at home. If I'm out I'll sometimes ask for it but usually met with Shock and Envy

HepsibarCrinkletoes · 11/01/2014 15:51

The other thing we used to do at school, and I've not done it for years so will now, is to mash the hard butter packs up with marmite, spread on white bread, sandwich and then press down. To be repeated until around 8 layers. A marmite millefeuille if you will. Delicious.

BabyMummy29 · 11/01/2014 15:55

I always shower at night - makes more sense to me.

And MB34 I also hate wine. Have tried all sorts and haven't found one I like. OH's family are great wine drinkers and look at me as if I'm some sort of alien cos I won't drink it!

SauceForTheGander · 11/01/2014 15:59

Chopped sausages length ways and filled them butter sometimes still tempted to do this

PlumPattern · 11/01/2014 16:09
