Sat in the staff room tucking into a kiwi, like you do, or rather like I do...chomping it like an apple. Everyone was horrified! Apparently you eat it with a spoon like a boiled egg... I can see why, the skin is minging but I alwa?s thought it was worth it for the delicious flesh. My family all eat it that way, never occurred to me there was anything odd about, I thought it was just the way it had to be done.

I'm really paranoid now there are other things I'm doing that are weird and disgusting. Please post your own experiences so I can tick them off the list.

Oh dear.

I eat the whole kiwi, skin and all.

I carry loads of stuff in my bra.

I mn on the loo.

I phone people for a chat when I am on the loo.

I like to put marmalade on my cheese on toast.

Minging

cece · 10/01/2014 23:41

My mum and I used to burn our sanitary towels on the fire in the living room. Fascinating.

Walkacrossthesand · 10/01/2014 23:42

Just did some googling and the Toas-tite (TM) has been relaunched in the US of A- and it does indeed look like a bra with a hinge! Grin

OpalQuartz · 10/01/2014 23:47

Assume the tampon bra thing would be less obvious with a non applicator than an applicator tampon

Littleen · 11/01/2014 00:26

Like laurie on the first page, I also keep everything in my bra. Started as a habit with tickets for train/tube (when you swap train/tube alot it's a hassle getting purse out all the time) and now it's everything from visa card and phone, to keys and shopping lists :P
People do comment though!

EBearhug · 11/01/2014 01:05

I have to crush eggshells (like after I've eaten a boiled egg), so the witches can sail away in them and drown the sailors at sea.

Apart from that, I am utterly normal, unlike the rest of you weird people. Grin

(Please do not ask anyone I know IRL to confirm this.)

LuisSuarezTeeth · 11/01/2014 05:27

Peanut butter and salad cream on toast
Crumpets with cheese an marmalade

I don't eat chocolate, cake or biscuits (am regarded as highly suspicious)

I have a friend with a flaky scalp and have to sit on my hands trying not to pick it, I'm gross.

I call round hay bales "grumptons" Confused

LuisSuarezTeeth · 11/01/2014 05:28

cece - quick, round mine for cheese and marmalade Grin

ScottishDiblet · 11/01/2014 07:52

Before I turn the tv off I have to return to BBC1. Turning on the tv to discover it left on another channel really upsets me. My DH doesn't do this and it drives me bonkers!

SassySpice · 11/01/2014 08:58

I like sitting on the floor in the middle of my kitchen to have a coffee or listen to music.
I generally prefer floor-sitting wherever I am. Given the choice of a comfy sofa or chair, I'd rather sit on the floor.

BiscuitsAreMyDownfall · 11/01/2014 09:31

Remembered another one when I was in bed. Cold beans straight from the tin. Also like cold tinned spaghetti too. People at uni thought I was very strange for that.

uptheanty · 11/01/2014 09:47

I eat Kiwi like you as does my dc Blush

I always did and didn't think it was weird until my dd came home from school and told me everyone was horrified at how she ate her kiwi at lunch Shock
Everyone got involved at the spectacle, it was the talk of the school.
I ended up looking it up online as I became so concerned I had taught my dc to eat something that would kill them slowly. It's fine as long as you clean it well all you scoopers are the weirdos Grin

I also love cheese & jam sandwiches-- delicious!

JugglingBackwardsAndForwards · 11/01/2014 09:56

As a child a friend and I invented a combo we called "cheese and treacle" but was grated cheese with golden syrup really.
(Outs self to a whole new load of people from years back !!)

helenthemadex · 11/01/2014 09:59

I love peanut butter on digestive biscuits

CrabbyWinterBottom · 11/01/2014 10:00

Some of these are truly bizarre! Grin i'm torn between being absolutely Shock at some of them and thinking 'but what are they talking about - that's totally normal behaviour!' at others Grin Some of these food combinations are just wrong!

I love kissing the dog, and used to adore burying my nose in my rabbit's neck and inhaling the scent of her - one of my favourite smells. I really don't like the dog licking me, although she loves it so much that we have compromised - she is permitted to like my neck below my ear and nibble my earlobe. Grin She sleeps in our bed/on DP's pillow and wants to be in physical contact with you all the time. We wash her a lot though. Would never let her lick a plate, although can't see the problem if it's washed properly afterwards.

I used to keep things in my bra quite often and sometimes put my on-call phone in my waistband if I've got music on and am worried about not hearing it go off. I don't like keeping it in my bra though as I worry about the radiation.

Pootlingalong · 11/01/2014 10:13

Cold baked beans straight from the tin, yum!
I read magazines starting at the back, can't explain why. Hairdresser called me on it and I was a bit Blush I read books forwards!

stickysausages · 11/01/2014 10:19

I can't think of anything.... !!!

Must mean I'm practically perfect Grin or weird as fuck

Sunnymeg · 11/01/2014 10:21

I too melt cheese on a plate. I also make crisp sandwiches and like nothing better than apple pie with a piece of cheese.

OpalQuartz · 11/01/2014 10:45

I usually have chocolate as my only breakfast on Christmas and birthdays and other occasions such as valentines day/ anniversary. Someone I told that thought it was disgusting. In fact this Christmas I did that for most of Christmas week!

JugglingBackwardsAndForwards · 11/01/2014 10:50

Well, it wouldn't be Christmas without chocolate Opal.
Choc features quite strongly in our celebration day breakfasts too Smile

helenthemadex · 11/01/2014 11:30

I also open a bag of ready salted crisps and put vinegar in its lovely

wontletmesignin · 11/01/2014 12:02

Oooo i used to love eating golden syrup straight from the tin, when i was a kid.

I tried a couple of years ago and its just not the same anymore.

Nutella ftw mmmmm

I also remember wanting hot chocolate powder so bad when we had none. So i tried cocoa powder instead. it was one of my worst tasting experiences ever!

HappilyChatterly · 11/01/2014 12:14

Don't you all feel better getting all that out of your bra off your chest? I certainly do. I've been running up the stairs on all fours even more joyfully than usual!

I love vinegar, but have genuinely never considered how many things I could add it to before; yum. I do, however, pour the spicy vinegar from the jalapeno jar onto fried rice. There was a similar condiment when I traveled in Thailand some years ago, and I loved it, I would drench my rice in this vinegar hopes to god it wasn't a finger bowl until it swam.

I ate rice porridge for breakfast for a long time when I got home. Delicious.

GroupieGirl · 11/01/2014 12:20

To the PP who mentioned weeing in the shower: I've always assumed that this was one of those things that everyone does, but we tacitly agree to just not talk about it?
