Sat in the staff room tucking into a kiwi, like you do, or rather like I do...chomping it like an apple. Everyone was horrified! Apparently you eat it with a spoon like a boiled egg... I can see why, the skin is minging but I alwa?s thought it was worth it for the delicious flesh. My family all eat it that way, never occurred to me there was anything odd about, I thought it was just the way it had to be done.

I'm really paranoid now there are other things I'm doing that are weird and disgusting. Please post your own experiences so I can tick them off the list.

I will happily eat left over curry for breakfast. I'll also eat chocolate and sweets at any time of the day. Apparently that's weird!

minesapintofwine · 10/01/2014 08:47

I

I melt cheese on a plate and eat it yum.

Apparantly I ALWAYS open crisp packet upside down Hmm which pisses off my colleague so much he now tries to intersect before the event, and I have to warn him 'I am now going to open these crisps' etc

normalishdude · 10/01/2014 08:58

having peanut butter and marmite on toast and drying my socks in the microwave.

ikeaismylocal · 10/01/2014 08:59

I did the changing the baby on the dining table, I was reluctant to purchase a new bit of furniture when I had a a bit of furniture that did the job perfectly.

My friends think it is strange that I bath my baby 2/3 times a day, it's not that he is dirty, it's just bathtime is fun.

HorsePetal · 10/01/2014 09:04

I add a sprinkling of salt and pepper to hot buttered toast - about as weird as it gets with me

Dinnaeknowshitfromclay · 10/01/2014 09:05

I eat 'Kiwifruit' like you do although I called them 'Kiwis' until I was heducated just now - ta. :)
My sister delaminates Jaffa cakes to eat them , I think that is weird/gross but orange flavoured chocolate makes me a bit :/ anyway

minesapintofwine · 10/01/2014 09:05

Some more from me (lets say Im quirky).

I drive with my hands at 10 to 2. Dh thinks that's weird .

My mil thinks its weird that my kids go to bed at 7. My friends think its weird that I often leave kids with dh at that time and go out sometimes I even get drunk.

I think they're all weird.

AntoinetteCosway · 10/01/2014 09:12

I keep a box in the cupboard under the sink for the recycling to go into. Apparently this is very weird and it should go straight into the outdoor recycling bin. Which would mean getting cold every time I had a can of coke Confused

MissPlumBroughtALadder · 10/01/2014 09:14

My two year old shares his toast with the dog. As in the dog sucks the toast then DS eats it. Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

HappilyChatterly · 10/01/2014 09:16

These are brilliant!

Thought of some more, I often run upstairs on my hands and feet, or run up and pump my arms really fast to pretend I'm sprinting...

I nibble off all the biscuit on a twix and nougat on a mars then roll up the caramel and pop it in in one go.

I'm forever asking people who look the same size as an ex boyfriend I had to stand on my back. I get a really sore back and one time said ex stood on my back, it popped and I was pain free for ages. No ones has taken me up on the offer, so I've never been able to test it again. Sad

I leave my tea bag in the cup. And I hate chocolate, and biscuits, and cake. And I don't have milk or sugar in hot drinks. I eat peanut butter straight from the jar.

Those who sneak peak the end of a book? Wrong! Wrong! I could never do that

sashh · 10/01/2014 09:20

LaurieFairyCake

I have just got a new phone, it is too big for my bra but my old one is broken so I can't go back to it.

Car keys, credit cards, spare change - all fits.

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 10/01/2014 09:22

I nip into the kitchen at work and eat coffee mate by the spoonful sometimes - it's so yummy and I love the way it sticks to my teeth :)

MiserableJanuaryJerseySpud · 10/01/2014 09:27

I just love eating cold chicken korma pizza from the take away with garlic mayonaise for breakfast

I eat salami on french bread with boursin.

I used to make up cake mixture just to eat it. without cooking it.

ScottishDiblet · 10/01/2014 09:28

I shower at night. Apparently this is weird and totally gross. But I can't get into bed unless I am clean. I think it's gross to wait until the morning!

Elliptic5 · 10/01/2014 09:28

This thread has reminded me I bought some kiwi fruit in Asda on Monday, haven't seen them since Confused wonder if they're rolling round the car?

Saucia · 10/01/2014 09:28

I go up the stairs on my hands and feet too!

I give the teabag a good suck after I’ve made a cup of tea.

formerbabe · 10/01/2014 09:29

Ha ha...I also make up cake mix to eat raw...oh, the shame!

not2nitedarling · 10/01/2014 09:32

Am loving these....
I use my bra like a hand bag.. currently holding.. mobile phone, tissue, vicks inhaler and e cig.. no wonder I have back ache!!
I can't drink coffee that has cooled down a bit.. only just boiled as its tastes disgusting.

yourusername123456789 · 10/01/2014 09:32

Can we go back to the tissue issue please ? (I'm a poet but I do know it)

I have allergies and I would go through an awful lot of tissues if I used one tissue per sneeze, it's not like they are snot filled, it is just a light spraying, so between... erm... sprays it goes up my sleeve. Am I gross?

minesapintofwine · 10/01/2014 09:32

scottish I heard somewhere that if you bathe before bed you only need to wash your sheets fortnightly as technically they dont get as dirty. So you're being economical!

=D

OxfordBags · 10/01/2014 09:34

You're really not meant to eat the skin on kiwi fruits!

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 10/01/2014 09:36

I always keep tissues up my sleeves.

NotSoChicAfterAll · 10/01/2014 09:39

My DP thinks it's weird I keep butter in the microwave, a habit I picked off DM
Can't see why he sees it weird though, keeps it's at the right temperature to spread it and the cat can't lick it
