....which refer to previous posts or posters, but don't add anything to the discussion, e.g. "I agree with x", "What x said", or even "^^ This.". What's the point, other than to get your username on the screen or jump on a bandwagon? If you're going to the trouble of posting, why not contribute something? If someone's already said exactly what you think, there's no need to post! Aaargh!

I sometimes wonder if my posts are invisible, ill say something, a couple of posts later someone else will say the same thing and everyone agrees with them

I always think short, mildly pointless answers were a kind of place marking by people who think a thread might kick off and who don't want to miss a bun fight or good deletion message.

I know what you mean Moomins I think there are a lot of people who don't RTFT and then all the posters who repeat what you said on page 1 get the credit. We need a new acronym. IAFST! (I already fucking said that!)
