Before I've paid?

Yes. You can't weigh the food they've eaten so it's theft imo.

gordyslovesheep · 31/12/2013 22:13

yes it is theft - it is worse than theft - why it's more akin to murder it's so very very bad - you should be flogged - in public

Happy New Year Grin

Sparklingbrook · 31/12/2013 22:13

YANBU. As long as they weigh the empty zippy bag at the end, and they don't drop any for someone to slip on.

SecretNutellaFix · 31/12/2013 22:14

yes. you thieving scum.

gordyslovesheep · 31/12/2013 22:14

you could weigh the kids on entering then weigh them before paying and pay the difference .... anyway the kids eating the grapes distracts the guards from the 787878 bottles of 'grape juice' you have shoved down your pants

SauvignonBlanche · 31/12/2013 22:14

Only if they're pre-packed and don't need weighing.

Harriebabe · 31/12/2013 22:14

YABU. It's stealing. They can't be weighed and you can't show the cashier an empty packet to scan.

ShylaMcCall · 31/12/2013 22:14

Eyes down...

MrsSpencerReid · 31/12/2013 22:15

Unless its from a pre measured box/tub yes, it's theft! I went through the till with one banana yesterday as ds wanted one mid shop!

sapfu · 31/12/2013 22:15
Lilacroses · 31/12/2013 22:16

I don't. I don't think you should graze on your way round the shop before you've paid but I also don't think it's the end of the world.

RandyRudolf · 31/12/2013 22:16

I'm more concerned that they haven't been washed (the grapes that is).

picnicbasketcase · 31/12/2013 22:16

Support local independent greengrocers.

You need to go back to the bananas and have one of those.

gordyslovesheep · 31/12/2013 22:16

we need a good old beneefits fred now

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 31/12/2013 22:16

Eek... I wouldn't, they need washing for one thing. Imagine other people fondling them... and your children munching them. Shock

InTheRedCorner · 31/12/2013 22:17

Theft!

Akin to leaving children alone in the car when paying for petrol.

Burn alive!!

Yes. That's only one portion of fruit. You need to get them nibbling on a carrot each as well. And an apple.

ArgumentsatChristmas · 31/12/2013 22:17

Are we playing MN Bingo?

I would like to see you and your ilk incarcerated Usual. Grape scroungers.

gallicgirl · 31/12/2013 22:18

Actually I've changed my mind. YANBU as long as you weigh the child at the checkout.

hoppingmad · 31/12/2013 22:18

Not Washed or cut in half! You're going to kill your kids for heavens sake, won't something think of the poor children Hmm whats wrong with some good old Pom bears

IsabellaBird · 31/12/2013 22:18

OMFG have they been cut in half to prevent the thieving urchins choking?!
