Hello usualsuspect . Probably not meant to but I must admit I do let dc try before I buy, I don't want to buy sour grapes !
Reminds me actually our tesco used to have a sign asking customers not to consume things that hadn't been paid for.

If those grapes that Usual has been stealing are not seedless, I am calling social services. You will appreciate the potential for choking on seeded grapes. I think this is neglect.

YABU because you should at least wash them first. I wouldn't let my children eat in the supermarket whether have paid or not - but each to their own.

Remember to loudly remark about How Much Your Children Love Their Fruit as you trundle along, as well. Everyone within the shop needs to know that Your Child Eats Fruit.
