And no of course I'm not BU Grin and this is why:

Chat disappears after 90 days so it doesn't clog up MN servers hanging round forever like AIBU does.

If MN don't have to store all this stuff then we just might not have as much down-time or advertising to pay for the servers to hold it all.

I know people use AIBU for traffic but MN don't need to store an "AIBU to ask which pushchair is funkiest?" until MN implodes.

One was in relation to a JH/forcedadoption shitey thread. I can't remember the other (though I have a vague memory of it being cannabis related). But both left me so apoplectic with rage I promised myself I would never register again. And I haven't. I value my wobbly mental health too much.

I dont read anything past the first "screen" of AIBU threads, so another vote for auto-deletion after x number of days/weeks. There seem to be hundreds of pages of AIBU threads, why?? I ask myself Confused

It would also stop Zombie threads from being reactivated and getting bumped up to the top of the list. Several times I have written a post only to realise it was dating back to 2011 or something daft due to me being in cloud cuckoo land and not reading the OP date first
