To carry on the complaining and to drown Liney.

I've opened it in AIBU to piss off Trills etc and to see if mnhq leave it here

DS and I just shared a massive chocolate santa for breakfast Grin as no milk or bread in.

Once again I was the first young person to go to bed last night. I think my new year's resolution might be to outlast
One of DH's siblings at one party!

LineRunner · 26/12/2013 10:33

I didn't see le builder chaud at all yesterday but I think he may visit later today.

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 10:36

I had mini-stollen for breakfast, yum!

DH is proposing hitting the sales - I'd rather tide the house, frankly Shock

LineRunner · 26/12/2013 11:19

Oh, he's got more family turning up this afternoon, apparently.... I've told him not to bother with me I'd rather know for sure I can slob about all day in my pjs than wonder whether he's going to be able to turn up or not.

Git.

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 11:30

Le Git Chaud Grin

I know what you mean: self-indulgent wallowing can be v satisfying if left in peace to do it. Or Red Hot Date.
Not worrying about whether one or the other is likely to happen.

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 11:44

MN is still all weird today - when will it go back to normal madness rather than horrible, judgy snideyness? I may just have to do stuff in RL Shock

LineRunner · 26/12/2013 11:45

Pacific, exactement!

Le Git Chaud® Grin

LineRunner · 26/12/2013 11:47

I may have to watch the Christmas Day Eastenders on I player.

I did some desultory tidying up before but couldn't find my motivation.

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 11:50

I've mislaid mine too - I think it might be under the pile of wrapping paper and crap in the living room. I CBA to go and look for it.

I am not quite desperate enough to consider watching DeadEnders though - are you ok?

I am eating chocolate tree ornaments now

Fiderer · 26/12/2013 11:51

I'm avoiding RL apart from having to wash & pack for England tomorrow

I'm currently in Siam with Yul Brynner and later I'll be crooned at by Bing & Frank in High Society.

LineRunner · 26/12/2013 12:02

I'm fine. Apart from a screaming match with the teens on Christmas Eve, the storm damage, not seeing Le Git Chaud over Christmas, the passive-aggressive intrusive presents from the loathed ExH to the DCs, and having every known medical problem in the universe, it's been the most wonderful time of the year.

Mind you, I got a fabulous secret santa gift from a MNer.

I'm still wondering who nominated me. That was so sweet. Xmas Smile

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 12:05

Aw, the Secret Santa thing was great Smile.

I got something lovely from the Not-Secret Santa thread - it was my only 'surprise' present and made my day.

Here's hoping for a better 2014 for you, Liney.
Btw why is your Git Chaud referred to in French? Is he French?? Are you in France?

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 12:06

Fids, I am unable to watch any lovely Boxing Day telly because the screen is needed for the fecking XBox - it's only been here for a day and is already annoying me Hmm.

LineRunner · 26/12/2013 12:11

Pacific, it's a hangover from Talc's franglais thread!

We actually in an urban jungle in Angleterre.

Fiderer · 26/12/2013 12:25

Pacific I only got my boys a PS & XBox on the punishable-by-death understanding that they don't come into the living room. Ever.

I am summoning the strength to get the cases out for tomorrow by making a mental list of Things To Do and drinking Sekt.

ZingChoirsOfAngels · 26/12/2013 12:30

watching flushed away with DS2 & DS4, who are ill. (not too bad)

I'm doing my embroidery also - it's so nice and peaceful, as MrZing took the other 4 down to his brother's.
VelcroGirl will have to attach herself to Daddy today!Grin

bliss!

TheBigJessie · 26/12/2013 12:55

Sales? Shops don't open until tomorrow do they?

Hey, we're nearly half way to pissing Maryz off by stealing the last post.

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 14:00

Ah, Franglais, je comprend completely Grin

Fids, I am on my own wrt game console control as DH does not see the problem Hmm - should I LTB? (How many times have I know asked that on this thread? Maybe I should.... hm, naw, he's got his uses).

Zing, enjoy your (relative) peace and quiet. I know what it's like when the numbers are even slightly reduced.

Re sales, DH chickened out - v wise.

Is it too early for Amaretto Sours? I am getting vair fond of them...

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 26/12/2013 14:17

No there are shops opened Jessie. I am not going anywhere near them, though.

I've just gotten out of bed to eat and charge my Kindle. And see if The Husband wants a nap, since he's been entertaining the boy all day.

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 14:18

Shops are open here today - heathen Scotland, I suppose

Ok, bored of hot milky drink now, sun is setting here...

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 26/12/2013 14:40

We are watching Space Jam for the 1m time.

Yay?

TheBigJessie · 26/12/2013 15:18

We will be going shopping tomorrow so I can start birthday shopping to buy stuff to go with nice new presents and spend vouchers. Have almost finished all the books I got for Christmas. Xmas Sad

pacific you should have asked for a new TV for Christmas. Is it possible for you to have more than one TV that can receive signals? We have cable, and we can only connect one TV set to it.

PacificDingbat · 26/12/2013 15:23

Nononono, I don't want more TVs in this house - there is more than one already... iPlayer has been my friend Grin. Has anybody seen the Father Ted Christmas Special rerun? I may have wet myself a tiny bit watching it Blush

LineRunner · 26/12/2013 15:34

God I love Father Ted.

I have the box set anyway but watched loads on the tv as well.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 26/12/2013 15:37

Father Ted never stops being funny.

I gave The Husband the Monty Python boxed set for Christmas and we were watching Flying Circus yesterday. Sometimes that show just makes me go 'really????' rather than laugh.
