To carry on the complaining and to drown Liney.

I've opened it in AIBU to piss off Trills etc and to see if mnhq leave it here

You rinse the mincemeat in brandy. Or my latest discovery, Kraken rum.
That way you get a rinsed pie with non-soggy pastry.
I'd cast Twit into the Outer Darkness without any pie, rinsed or otherwise if I were you Maryz.
All that anticipation and planning and she snaffled the last post.
Although living with teenagers, you should be used to that feeling.

bigkidsdidit · 23/12/2013 17:31

I had a shot or two of jäger at a wedding last week. It made me nostalgic for my youth :) it was revolting

Amrapaali · 23/12/2013 17:31

When did that thread fill up? And you are all here....??

And when will this bloody rain stop? Something is leaking, there is a trickle of water on the kitchen ceiling. I need wine.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 23/12/2013 17:32

Have a good evening Liney. And lots of Jagerfilth - is that a drink, or what you are going to do to HB?

I'm planning to do a very late supermarket shop tonight. Bloody hell, apparently it's almost Christmas and there's a need for Christmas stockings. Bugger.

Mince meats are nasty. I'm sure there's a law against them.

Fiderer · 23/12/2013 17:32

Much filth to you Liney

Sparklingbrook · 23/12/2013 17:32

Maryz I bought some of these desserts they are lovely.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 23/12/2013 17:34

I don't intend to forgive her any time soon, Silver.

I will be watching, and waiting, and preparing for revenge.

no idea how to get revenge on someone I only know as an anonymous poster on an internet forum but you get the idea

TheVermiciousGrinch · 23/12/2013 17:34

Sorry, mince pies are nasty. Mince meast is even nastier.

PacificDingbat · 23/12/2013 17:35

Silver, I stood in front of the Kraken Rum in Tesco's yesterday and texted DH to tell him. Yes, I am a saddo.

Jägerfilth was the Drink of Choice of the local hobos in my youth and now it's become trendy... the yoof of toay, I telly's Hmm. We're all dooooooomed.

PacificDingbat · 23/12/2013 17:36

Amrapaali, the horizontal rain here the other day caused my bedroom windows to leak to such an extent that I have about 3 ft of soaking wet carpet in the room. That I discovered about 3 days later. I am in denial.
It will dry, won't it? And not cause wet rot?

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 23/12/2013 17:37

Dried fruit should be outlawed. For everything.

Except raisins. I like raisins. Sometimes.

Twit · 23/12/2013 17:37

I'd cast Twit into the Outer Darkness without any pie, rinsed or otherwise if I were you Maryz.
Shock Sad

Sparklingbrook · 23/12/2013 17:38

Why are there now two threads? I have only had a few sips. Confused

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 23/12/2013 17:38

You do know you are going to have to do the name change of shame, Twit?

OP posts:
GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 23/12/2013 17:39

We finished the other one, Sparky.

Twit · 23/12/2013 17:40

If it makes you feel better i have tonsillitis and it is spreading to my ears. And a maniac two y/o. and6,7,12&15y/o

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 23/12/2013 17:40

My computer hung and I had to turn the wifi on again but it must have posted first.

Which is when Twit baggsed the last post Hmm

I've asked them to delete it.

OP posts:
Amrapaali · 23/12/2013 17:40

Of course, Pacific, of course it will dry. Xmas Smile

{silently wonders at Pacific's naivete}

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 23/12/2013 17:41

Liney I am so pleased to hear that HB is still around Smile

I want a drink but it's only 12.45 here (Florida) and I think MIL would be seriously like Hmm
She is taking the DDs to the pool this afternoon so I can get wrapping. Fuck that, I'd rather go swimming. Sigh.

PacificDingbat · 23/12/2013 17:41

I like prunes.
I don't need prunes, if you get my drift, but I like them.

Raisins are ok as snacks, but not in cakes.
And why on earth do we need raisins, sultanas, and what-are-those-other-ones-called?
They are all dried grapes.

Right, my cake demands attention.

PacificDingbat · 23/12/2013 17:42

Hearts, Florida?? Envy

SilverApples · 23/12/2013 17:42

Tee, the gin-sodden wreck formally known as Maryz started two second threads, as she failed to focus on the difference between unreasonable and unseasonal.
It's Twit's fault, Maryz is a broken woman having had her ambitions dashed.

Salmotrutta · 23/12/2013 17:42

Will it be a Swim Bar?

I learned about Swim Bars on MN

Amrapaali · 23/12/2013 17:43

Raisins are from green grapes and sultanas are from the purple ones. Or the other way round. Something.
