I can't be arsed quite frankly. Just finished all other wrapping and these will be so small and fiddly.

Is it really bad not to wrap them?

We wrap.

JKSLtd · 22/12/2013 22:20

I wrap most but leave things like choc coins, satsumas, etc unwrapped.

Pancakeflipper · 22/12/2013 22:20

Wrap some things, don't wrap the bloody obvious stuff.

kinkychristmas · 22/12/2013 22:20

I never wrap stocking gifts.

everydayaschoolday · 22/12/2013 22:20

I wrap the little presents but not the sweets.

MacaYoniandCheese · 22/12/2013 22:21

Don't wrap. Be green.

CremeEggThief · 22/12/2013 22:21

I don't wrap stocking fillers either.

puntasticusername · 22/12/2013 22:21

We wrap, but I know people who don't. Don't think it matters too much. Your still get the "discovery" aspect of pulling the prezzies out of the stocking.

Definitely, if it's one more job than you can happily handle three days before Xmas, don't do it. Your time will be better spent putting your feet up and having a Wine and attacking the Xmas choc instead.

SugarHut · 22/12/2013 22:22

Wrap it like a demon. With lots of sellotape. Then they take an extra 5 minutes to undo them Grin

ChristmasJumperWearer · 22/12/2013 22:22

Depends on the age of the child.

Under-5's, I don't wrap more than one or two bits. They still look at everything, want to play with every single fucking thing, it takes a while.

Over-5, I wrap maybe half of the bigger (easier-to-wrap) stuff as they can open it faster and don't dwell on everything so much, realising that there is more to come under the tree.

Norudeshitrequired · 22/12/2013 22:22

Don't wrap. Be green.

Or use recycled wrapping paper and recycled raffia type ribbon.

DamnBamboo · 22/12/2013 22:23

Thanks all, although maca and punts post resonates most (I wonder why?)

Happy christmas all ho ho ho Xmas Smile Wine

Never wrap stocking fillers! Madness!

DamnBamboo · 22/12/2013 22:24

Ha sugar I always pride myself on using so little tape when I wrap so I don't have too much to pick off when it goes in the log-burner!

We wrap. It's inherited from DHs family. My parents never wrapped. But those were satsuma and 50p times.

FreeWee · 22/12/2013 22:28

Wrap. It's more excitement!

Sparklymommy · 22/12/2013 22:34

We wrap, mostly. We don't wrap satsumas, Choc coins etc but we do wrap most.

DragonMamma · 22/12/2013 22:37

Always wrap.

I can't comprehend not wrapping. What would happen if they turned it upside down and everything fell out? It would be over in 20 seconds.

I even wrap bags of chocolate coins.

I save the offcuts of wrapping paper for stocking bits and wrap them fairly crap to help my youngest.

fifi669 · 22/12/2013 22:38

My mum had 5 kids so by the time it got to stockings, everything had paper on it but just generally scrunched around

Freddiefrog · 22/12/2013 22:40

I wrap

I get lots of amusement on Christmas morning watching them unwrap 10 pairs of individually wrapped socks and knickers

It's payback for the 6am wake up call

iamusuallybeingunreasonable · 22/12/2013 22:43

Wrap, but with tissue paper :)

EssexGurl · 22/12/2013 22:45

Wrap!

thegreylady · 22/12/2013 22:45

We have never wrapped stocking presents its a waste of effort.

ShoeWhore · 22/12/2013 22:47

Definitely wrap!

DamnBamboo · 22/12/2013 22:51

Have compromised and done 50:50.
