John Prescott came up with one of the best malapropisms of all time, returning from a trip abroad.
'It's could to be back on terracotta!'

Perhaps next time he'll go with "terrapluviale" Wink

I'll send you a message later, moondog

I pronounce it 'hand cream'.

My bilingual aunt who lived in Provence for 20 years calls it 'Locky tan'.

I learnt a new word today and need to use it: PARAPROSDOKIAN
Xmas Grin

"We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public"
"If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong" - I may use this one on here

daisychain My DH pronounces with coffee brand correctly Doo-vay Eck berts, so I just totally take the piss and say Dowee Eggy bits

Sorry, but its "Dow-uh Ech-berts"

with the ch like ch in loch, but more guttural. There is no v sound in Douwe.

See at 52 seconds in.

OK hope the name change works.

My boss once sent me an email about the correct way to say espresso. With links attached.

I now respect her enormously and never snigger about it behind her back.
