Hi MN Smile

After taxes, bills, rent/mortgage , food basically everything - with the money that is left over how do you treat yourselves and what do you generally spend it on?

Personally: fresh flowers, 'luxury' bath products /creams and huge gorgeous candles. And a once weekly massage (I have a semi-physical job)

My best friend : monthly mini break (lucky cow), different ethnic restaurants and rare books.

What about you all?

Holidays are my biggest non essential expense, treats for DC, posh coffees with friends, meals out, takeaways, days out, lots of TVs with Sky. I don't spend much on clothes or haircuts.

Nice clothes - a couple of items a month
Toiletries and make up.
Coffee shop trips at the weekend
Restaurant meals a couple of times a month
Cinema/theatre/exhibitions on average once a month

Small mortgage, no kids. Quite a nice life!
