A toad house.

Somehow I don't think tea'll taste the same.

Wow just googled, you can really get houses for toads. How the hell do you entice them in ?

MrsLouisTheroux · 12/12/2013 20:26

is this the toad house you now own?

Just read the reviews. "I am happy with this product as it was something different from socks." Well yes, if that was your only requirement then I imagine that it probably met your needs.

ThreeBeeOneGee · 12/12/2013 20:36

I don't think Best For Birds used much foresight when naming their company. Did they not realise they might need to branch out into the toad house market?

ScarletLady02 · 12/12/2013 20:37

I'm just hearing Peter Griffin saying "Toad House" instead of "Road House"

MrsLouisTheroux · 12/12/2013 20:38

Ahh but have you got the £5 plastic toad house or the £15 luxury version?
How irked you are about this mix up depends on which one you now own.

Primafacie · 12/12/2013 20:38

Oops, had to ask for post to be deleted ad there was a problem with the link.

Here it is again toad house

The teapot was a Christmas pressie for ILs. They live in a 7th floor flat in Asia. As far as I'm aware, toads are rarely seen climbing that high :o

In the future I may stick with socks.

LornaGoon · 12/12/2013 20:39

That is amazing! Will be adding to my Christmas list, please Santa. We had about 50 odd toads in the garden during mating season literally shagging each other to death - actual toad corpses afterwards. This might be a nice place for them to hang out after all the amorous activity.

ThreeBeeOneGee · 12/12/2013 20:39

What about the other customer? The one who actually ordered a toad house? Are they trying to entice amphibians up the spout of an upended teapot?

WowserBowser · 12/12/2013 20:41

Wow that's beautiful! Your in laws will love it Grin

Primafacie · 12/12/2013 20:42

MrsLouisTheroux, actually the irksomeness of the problem is not really dependent on value of the substitution. There isn't much of a secondary market for toad houses around here. Rather, it's the fact that it's not a teapot - so whether it's the cheap one or expensive one, it still doesn't make tea.

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 12/12/2013 20:43

Grin this is as good as the supermarket substitute thread!

Sukebind · 12/12/2013 20:45

I actually got a frog house for Christmas last year! I hate frogs.
