(just watched it for the first time)
I know they're pigs but really!

I don't find the snorting offensive but one I noticed it, I can't stop noticing all the giggling. It's completely unnecessary. Children don't just giggle nonstop whenever they run anywhere.

PrammyMammy · 27/11/2013 16:25

Peppa pig. Ah. Dd loves peppa pig. There is an actual peppa pig channel at my grans which she takes delight in putting on for dd every time we are over.

It's so annoying. Snorting, plus she has the worst attitude ever don't you think? Also the teeth when they smile are terrifying.

KellyElly · 27/11/2013 16:26

I find it offensive that my DD has started copying the snorting when she talks Grin

StealthPolarBear · 27/11/2013 16:29

I hadn't noticed the smiling. Daddy pig's whiskers are annoying though. If he's going for the George Michael look he's failed :o

I've only seen a few but they all seem to fall about laughing at the end for some reason!

I also think it's where DD got the idea that she loves jumping in muddy puddles - unless there's another programme where they say that Grin

PrammyMammy · 27/11/2013 17:08

No that's Peppa too Piano.
Muddy puddles.
Dd wants a yoyo for Christmas. A yoyo.

Latara · 27/11/2013 17:19

But they are pigs! And pigs snort.

I don't think they giggle though.

Changebagsregeneratedgladrags · 27/11/2013 18:18

They are fucking pigs.

hyenafunk · 27/11/2013 18:22

They're pigs, they snort. The giggling is the most irritating bit.

StealthPolarBear · 27/11/2013 18:30

Changebags, was there a need for that?

MillyStar · 27/11/2013 19:02

Aww I love peppa I think they're a lovely happy giggling family

AhCmonSeriouslyNow · 27/11/2013 19:04

I was just talking about some of the finer points of Peppa over on Facebook. I don't mind the snorting but I did find the falling about laughing at the end a bit creepy. I am used to it now, though - I am sure you'll adapt to Stealth!

AhCmonSeriouslyNow · 27/11/2013 19:04

gah - *too !

gamerchick · 27/11/2013 19:05

Can't stand the program.

I mean seriously man.. look at the pig family.. its like somebody was doodling and drew a knob and pair of balls and had a light bulb moment for a cartoon.

insummeritreinsdeer · 27/11/2013 19:07

They are pigs. You need to be more accepting of others. Wink

Salmotrutta · 27/11/2013 19:33

Why is every building up a hill? Hmm

MeanAndMeaslyMiddleAges · 27/11/2013 19:39

The buildings are on hills because the creators noticed that when young children draw pictures of their houses they usually have them in isolation, on the top of hills, so it's based on that.

0utnumbered · 27/11/2013 19:40

I don't notice much I tend to tune it out! I do find George's ridiculous whingy cry whenever he doesn't get his way really irritating though! Doing nothing for the whiney phase my 2 year old is going through!!

Chippednailvarnish · 27/11/2013 20:36

I've always wondered who they put in their meatballs when they have spaghetti...

Changebagsregeneratedgladrags · 27/11/2013 20:49

Apologies SPB

They are fucking snorting bastarding pigs.

GreatGardenstuff · 27/11/2013 20:53

Watch it for 6 or 7 hours straight and you don't notice anymore...

gamerchick · 27/11/2013 21:06

I dunno it works your way into your subconscious. Sometimes the youngling sneaks it on in the morning before school and it takes a while before I figure out why I'm becoming increasingly irritated and I haven't even noticed it's on till then Angry

Meh84 · 27/11/2013 21:29

I'm amazed at Miss Rabbit - talk about multi-tasking

msmoss · 27/11/2013 21:32

oi leave the pig family alone!

I actually really enjoy Peppa Pig Blush now where did I put that life I once had.

Ev1lEdna · 27/11/2013 22:21

Snorting is part of pig culture, OP you are being pigist.
