to find it unpleasant that Peppa and family snort when they talk

I know they're pigs but really!

Was watching today (sad life!). Mrs Rabbit gave birth to twins and her sister was the nurse at the hospital. So are there lots of Miss/Mrs Rabbits out there in Peppa pig land that are all related? This would explain the endless list of jobs taken by the rabbits.

That would be a good explanation for miss rabbit's many jobs. Otherwise, her work/life balance must be appalling.

I like Peppa! There are a million worse programmes that really piss me off but I think PP is done really well, the animation is nice and simple, the episodes are short and the voices are relatively normal. DD1 loves it so I suppose I'm fond of it on her behalf.

There is only one miss rabbit.

There is a Mrs Rabbit (with Rebecca, Richard and the twins) and her sister, Miss Rabbit (who does all the jobs - seriously, it is just Miss Rabbit who does all the jobs - it's explained in a few episodes - she even gets a medal).

See, I see a lot of love for Miss Rabbit and her work ethic on these boards but no-one ever gives the Wise Old Elf any praise and he does just as many! He's the Ben and Holly version of Miss Rabbit but he is largely ignored :(

I may be too heavily into these programmes...

YANBU. I hate the snorting! We don't watch it...

It makes me feel a little queasy. This is probably because I can't hear that noise without imagining it being followed by the spitting out of a great glob of thick snot.

I think the fact that they talk means we can suspend our belief that they are real pigs and therefore do not need to have them snorting as well as talking. V annoying, you're right OP.

I really didn't mind the snorting, but my kids aren't into it. Had they copied any of that shit I'd have had to have a cull. Fortunately mine love wolfblood and young dracula. They do 'wolfin out' instead, which involves lots of mucking about outside. when they aren't glued to the repeats
