YANBU. We have 2 Yorkipoos and they're wonderful. The girl is the cuddliest dog ever and the boy prances and dances like a cross between a monkey and a kangaroo Grin.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 24/11/2013 19:10

yanbu I love my dog.

she's a black and white 9yr old collie x lab and is incredibly spoiled.

she's very funny and likes to round all the humans up

HoneyDavros · 24/11/2013 19:15

I love my dog

I love all your dogs

I just love dogs

I love that when a dog is around everything you do is awesome because that's how dogs make you feel.

And I love my HullygullyPuppy

mrsjay · 24/11/2013 20:02

mrsjay I always delude myself as to what size of dog my house can accommodate. I would love a Scottish Deerhound and I pretend that it would be fine. In truth, it would take up most of the living room.

oh that would need a sofa of its own as a bed although my little collie takes up most of ours i have moved over so he could get comfy once or twice

mrsjay · 24/11/2013 20:06

och my strike out failings are Blush today

MrsBRamleyApples i do love the sound of your dog sounds adorable Wink

teenagersknowall · 24/11/2013 21:31

BOF · 24/11/2013 21:48

you ever seen Rupert Fawcett's cartoons?. He has a collection called "Off The Leash", and the book would make a great Christmas present.

Oh, another amazing cartoon about dogs here! "Dogs Don't Understand Moving." I love how she draws them. hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/11/dogs-dont-understand-basic-concepts.html

Cosmothedog · 24/11/2013 22:25

BOF your dog is adorable.

Here's mine

We love him so much.

frumpet · 24/11/2013 22:33

I love my dog ,because although he has knackered the garden , frequently poos on the carpet , smells dodgy and has a fox poo fetish , he is always so pleased to see me , even when i have only been out to empty the bin ( a bin i have to empty before he does ) . He is a great big dirty poppet Grin

LambChopsRarePlease · 24/11/2013 22:36

DH would love a newfoundland, however we live in a 3 bed end of terrace and the garden isn't mahoosive enough. they're VVV cute though.

I said if we win the lottery he can have two.

DziezkoDisco · 24/11/2013 22:37

Cosmo your dog made me go awwwwww, he is absolutley lovely.

So is my mutt, she is a bit of evything, looks a bit tough but is a soft as butter, but I cant do photo things. She loves us all so so much and we love her. When anyone cries she comes and snuggles them. She acts like a puppy but shes getting on a bit.

kchapper5 · 24/11/2013 22:37

I love my dog. He's a rescue lab x GSD, he acts like a grumpy old man and isn't the best at walks but he had a horrendous start in life and I love nothing more than cuddling him

iloveny001 · 24/11/2013 23:09

I would love a dog, but my lifestyle is not suitable. Luckily I have a friend who is a dog walker so I get my fix. I do love her dog, a beautiful retriever, we have a special friendship as I walked him lots as a puppy as her partner was in hospital not long after they got him. He is amazing, even though he smells of pond and wet dog most of the time!

FlashDrive · 24/11/2013 23:19

So much Doggy Love Grin

They are all gorgeous

I am sharing some crackers & cheese with my 2 lovelies now

I have a golden who I absolutely adore. He's 19 months so still a puppy in golden terms and he drives me demented by stealing and eating EVRYTHING I put down but he's so loving it's all worth it.

He's really energetic and bouncy and some people were horrified we planned on keeping him living inside when we had DD (live in rural Ireland, people don't normally do that) but he's so gentle towards her it's amazing. She's 4 months nearly and has started smiling at him and he keeps offering his tug toy to play with him. When she's in her swing chair he lies in front of it, even though sometimes it hits him in the head! I love him. There are pics on my profile.

BOF · 24/11/2013 23:40

Cosmo, I love yours Grin

BOF · 24/11/2013 23:43

I think we all need to see this Grin

MummyBeerest · 24/11/2013 23:44

I love my girl. 7yrs old and the biggest jerk to other dogs...like, hates them with a passion. But the most loyal dog to people and so good with my DD.

I feel sad when people don't like dogs.

tintingirl · 25/11/2013 00:09

Love love love my little rescue dog. My first doggie ever after divorcing a "cat person". He is Shih-tzu x American Cocker Spaniel and looks a bit like a Lhasa Apso. The most chilled put dog in the universe and I am a very lucky girl to have him. Only 11 months when rescued and not even 3yo yet so I hope I have many years with him Grin

YoureBeingASillyBilly · 25/11/2013 00:14

Yanbu

I love my furry big bed warmer too. I never used to understand when people said " they're part of the family" but i totally get it now since i've had him. He is the 3rd child (and the most obedient one Grin) he is 3 and the most gentle giant i have ever come across. I love how he knows our routines now and is at the door waiting to go up to bed at night and wakes in the morning just as we should be getting up. I love that if i drop the lead (while it is attached to him) he will turn and pick up the handle end in his mouth and bring it back to me rather than gallop off. I love that he wont eat any food sitting around until i say he can and that he happily shares his dish with the cat. He really is the best dog in the world (i'll hear no argument! Grin) and i could not be without him. I am very lucky.
