To ask what unpopular opinions you hold? (Lighthearted)

NC (not for this) but I'm long-standing MNer (Pom bear, naice ham...)

This might ruin the whole concept of AIBU but sometimes people pop up with opinions that I am shocked by, not because of what they are but just because they are so marginal. (SPs Cliff Richard obsession, for example?)

So, whilst encouraging you all to go forth and spread your weird and wonderful thoughts all over AIBU and elsewhere, what really unpopular opinions do you hold?

I have a couple of corkers, first one is that Kanye West however much of a knob he is actually is a genius.

And now I'm on a roll..

Musicals are hell on earth!!

Drinking alcohol in front of/while in charge of children is wrong. Bring drunk in front of children is disgusting.

I hate seeing kids in pubs.

If you are arrested while drink driving, you should be charged with attempted murder.

Cyclists are a fucking menace on the road. Majority of cyclists I've seen jump red lights, don't stick to the cycle lane, don't wear helmets/hi vis/lights on their bikes, don't make hand signals when turning, yet if they get into a collision it is automatically the cars fault.

Drug users are scum. Even the "recreational" users.

I hate Paul Mcartney. And the Beatles as a whole. Fuckers.

I wish I had the imagination to be a vegetarian because I think done properly properly it's healthier than the red meat heavy diet rut we/I've got ourselves/myself into. But veganism is a step too far.

Vegetarians don't generally piss me off, the ones who still eat fish or whatever do. Either eat meat or don't. I knew a 'vegetarian' who still ate bacon sandwiches.

Classical music is all crap.I think a lot of people only listen to it because it makes them look clever and posh.

All the politicians/people in the media denouncing Boris Johnson for 'distracting' from the issue with cyclists are talking bollocks.

He's right. Cyclists shouldn't wear earphones when on the road.

And I don't even like Boris.

A sport is only in fact a sport if all the competitors/players do it at the same time. If they have to take turns, it's a skill. I'm willing to make an exception if participants could technically do it at the same time but it's easier to take turns for health and safety reasons (for example javelin or high jump). This rule should instantly be applied to all sports channels and sports news.

Men should not have long fingernails. Even the slightest hint of a white tip on a male hand gives me the shudders.

Politics should be about more than economics.

Oh God vegetarians piss me off. Now Vegans I can understand. No animal products.

But vegetarians? Won't eat a hamburger but will wear a cows dead skin on their feet. Makes sense!

It pisses me off that amongst the networks at work for minority groups (sexuality, etc) there's one for women.

shorty I'm not sure that your opinion would be unpopular but the male fingernail thing has just never occurred to me until now. But you're right, it gives me the heave.

VerySmallSqueak I agree most classical music is boring, but what about the classics with real powerful crescendos? Ode to Joy? The Planets? Swan Lake!!

I'd like to be vegetarian- but I doubt I could manage it. I agree that I get annoyed at people who claim to be vegetarian, but eat fish. A fish is not a vegetable.

It pisses me off that people expect politicians to know how much basic groceries cost. Do you want them out memorising prices or would you rather they ran the country?

Compassion is one of the most important qualities to have.

That I prefer my cats and horses to most people and don't give a stuff about cats on work tops etc and you've never had a proper snog until you've had a full snog from a horse!
