NC (not for this) but I'm long-standing MNer (Pom bear, naice ham...)

This might ruin the whole concept of AIBU but sometimes people pop up with opinions that I am shocked by, not because of what they are but just because they are so marginal. (SPs Cliff Richard obsession, for example?)

So, whilst encouraging you all to go forth and spread your weird and wonderful thoughts all over AIBU and elsewhere, what really unpopular opinions do you hold?

I have a couple of corkers, first one is that Kanye West however much of a knob he is actually is a genius.

Bloody hell twit.

There you go, I've learned something from this thread.

My newest unpopular opinion - people are fucking appalling.

Ooh yes, Pandora bracelets!! I don't see the point at all, so expensive for a bit of ugly unoriginal tat.

Tailgaters should have their licences permanently revoked.

National Service should be brought back for all NEET 16 - 25 year olds.

PippaMiddleton · 20/11/2013 20:43

YES, YES, YES. chocolatedigestivedunker.

Its the ones who are usually to be found accusing others of spoiling the site, who are actually spoiling the site.

Gileswithachainsaw · 20/11/2013 20:44

I prefer animals to people.

I hate people who don't wash and think it's ok to sit in shops stinking the place out (medical conditions exempt of course)

I also think people who spend their benefit money on vast amounts of alcohol (not talking a few beers or a couple of bottles of wine. But serial pub blow outs) and on drugs and gambling should have the extra they appear to have taken away and given to other parents on benefits who are atruggling and would use it for it's intended purpose like food and rent.

I am also a bit woo :) aliens ghosts you name it I believe it!

Twit · 20/11/2013 20:44

Facebook in general. I mean, wtf?

Ragusa · 20/11/2013 20:45

That people who give money to donkey sanctuary charities and the like are not actually very likely to be caring people, if they choose to give money to save animals as opposed to people. I am deeply suspicious of animal-charity-donators.

Most people who talk about FF being just as good as BF are covering their arses or justifying their own choices and can't have done the research (I've done both feeding methods, more FF in fact), but you're not gonna convince me that modified cow's milk comes close to BM.

That morrisey is an enormous tit and Marr wss in fact the genius.

That people who claim principals but don't follow them through in daily living are vile. You can't have the best of both worlds.

FreeWee · 20/11/2013 20:45

Yep not their fault in the slightest SPs Grin I didn't say my opinions were well thought through Wink

MurderOfGoths · 20/11/2013 20:46

Feminine · 20/11/2013 20:46

I think the most ageing thing on a woman is yellowing teeth.

not white/grey hair Grin

Worriedkat · 20/11/2013 20:48

Professor Brian Cox is not hot, he looks like he has a Halloween mask on.

BlueSkySunnyDay · 20/11/2013 20:48

cloggal - this is peoples unpopular deepest, darkest, secret attitudes.

People arent 1 dimensional, most are a mixture of nice and not so. Like the friend who is great fun but unreliable, or the lovely thoughtful friend who is always late. Most people arent perfect or completely bad.

School productions are mindnumbingly shite.

FreeWee · 20/11/2013 20:49

Pippa if you can do it in a 'lighthearted' way knock yourself out!

Twit I'm not being funny but I was going to say that on my list! but it got a bit too long

marmaladeandguitars · 20/11/2013 20:49

Oooh, I nearly forgot- I massively judge grown women who giggle and talk about 'pampering', 'spoiling yourself' etc. They are nearly always the same women who view their own husbands as some sort of alien species, though a necessary accessory to their princess image. I know it is totally unreasonable, but I can't shake the feeling that, somewhere along the line, their emotional development got kind of stunted.

SugarSpunSisters · 20/11/2013 20:50

Hmm some ugly opinions on this thread

rubyflipper · 20/11/2013 20:50

Whoever said Pandora bracelets are for people who lack imagination hit the nail on the head.
Of all the beautiful jewellery in the world and you have to choose that tat.

cloggal · 20/11/2013 20:51

I know bluesky... I started the thread! I was referring specifically to something twit mentioned upthread in a hugely exaggerated way :)

agreed marmaladeandguitars

PippaMiddleton · 20/11/2013 20:51

Okay. I don't like other people's children. Blush

I don't hate them or anything. I just don't like them. They annoy me.

stooshe · 20/11/2013 20:51

JOLLEIGH. I love your suggestion about people on JSA for 1+ years should be given two weeks work placements in order to keep their work confidence up. Our politicians are not the brightest bunch, are they?

Daddypigsgusset · 20/11/2013 20:51

I hate hairy dicks and penny pinchers

ihatethecold · 20/11/2013 20:52

I judge a mum a school who arrives with her youngest on her lap in the front passenger seat of the car.

Everyday. It really bugs me!

Daddypigsgusset · 20/11/2013 20:52

Date night wankers get on my tits

tinmug · 20/11/2013 20:52

Most chocolate (Galaxy, Twixes, Bounties, whatever the rest of them are called) is disgusting and I find it incredibly hard to believe that people genuinely enjoy it.
