AIBU is the scariest one!

that's why I like it

Hop on over to chat, it's gentle. Mostly.

rockybalboa · 19/11/2013 23:16

mumofbeautys · 19/11/2013 23:17

mumofbeautys · 19/11/2013 23:22

why can't you lol on mumsnet

I was actually being very nice about a lot of people who have given my advice on AIBU and never had an issue with anyone.

OP posts:
BornThisCrazy · 19/11/2013 23:23

I sometimes imagine people who LOL excessively, actually laughing out loud each time they write lol. They seem a little crazy to me from then onwards.

mumofbeautys · 19/11/2013 23:25

I can honestly say that isn't me .. if you read my other threads I am a fairly normal person and mother just thought tonight I would stay away from the serious stuff.

OP posts:
Wolfiefan · 19/11/2013 23:26

Yes Born. Exactly that. Didn't lol but did have a little smile as I read your post.

morethanpotatoprints · 19/11/2013 23:27

Hello mumofbeautys I think I agreed with you on another thread before.
Stay away from threads that have anything to do with wohm or sahm no matter how nice they start off.

YABU for lolling on here Grin

WorraLiberty · 19/11/2013 23:27

You LOL wherever you like OP and don't let anyone tell you any different.

You're totally bonkers though if you think AIBU is the friendliest option

Who knew the Xmas topic could be scary?? Grin

WillYouDoTheFandango · 19/11/2013 23:28

Bornthiscrazy I imagine it like the who takes 20 minutes to say anything as he LOLs all the time.

BornThisCrazy · 19/11/2013 23:31

I am sure you are a lovely person mob and a great mother, but MN doesnt like lolling/hugging/hunning/ excessive display of fake affection business, though we may well do it in real life. Its just the way it is. Though that does not mean we are unsympathetic or unhelpful towards others and their problems. Check out relationships board. Real practical advice and support without all the fluffiness.

mumofbeautys · 19/11/2013 23:31

I know worral - note to self people get a lil touchy over playmobile and lols apparently, I am not doing well tonight.

morethan - I got lost on that thread by the time I got back to it, I couldn't even find my comment so gave up :)

Rather than lol

OhSodOff · 19/11/2013 23:41

I have been here years and say lol

But only when something's funny. Not as punctuation eg I went to the shop and forgot to buy milk lol now I have to go back out in the rain lol

Because then they'll descend like a pack of wolves. Good.

This is the least welcoming part of mumsnet btw.

morethanpotatoprints · 19/11/2013 23:41

mumofbeautys

Just went on the childcare thread again, couldn't resist as had to answer a question directed at me.
Please tell me to take my own advice and walk away. Grin
