Dp has just arrived home after a stag night he rarely goes out. He comes upstairs with a greasy takeaway pizza, strips down to his pants and gets settled in to eat it in bed!! We have white egyiptian cotton sheets and we changed the bed yesterday. I have told him in no uncertain terms that he cannot eat it in bed, he must take it back downstairs and eat there.

He says I have ruined his night. AIBU? I feel like his mother telling him off, this has not happened before

I suspect I might purely on the grounds I refuse to put my Mulberry bags on the floor but will do so with high street bought bags.

I was very fucked off recently when dp put nasty eye drops in his dogs poorly eye on my bed, and the poor beast did a little wee on my fucking clean duvet. Never have I moved so quickly. Got to it before it hit my brand new feather duvet underneath. The cock.

I can't understand why one person is allowed to tell their partner what they may and may not do in their house in their bed.

OP - I'm with you. Eat the pizza either at the dining table (preferably) or on couch (compromise). No food in the bed.

Worra - simple, if you are in the bed first, you get to call the shots... And likewise if you are the one who changes the bed clothes.

I sort of agree that telling someone what they can or cant do in a house/room/bed/sheets they part paid for is U. However, saying "I would rather you didnt eat that in bed, the crumbs are horrible" is ok.

It all depends on context, if he isnt a selfish arse and she isnt a diva then he will eat his pizza on the sofa/stairs/floor/toilet and she will say thank you for that. If either of them is selfish or a diva then all bets are off!

Of course my PP isnt taking into account a total drunken arse who will fall asleep with his face in said pizza and spread it all over the bed. That would be totally U as it would ruin the bed linen (whether it be Egyptian cotton or Asda polycotton).
