To think Kylie is an irritating squeaking budgie who can't sing?

Well, am I?

She's done very well for herself, and I respect her as I know she's been through hard times in the past, but she's ubiquitous and annoying.

I loved her when I was a kid but I didn't know any better then.

Anyone else sick of the sight of her?

Another YANBU. A couple of tracks are OK, and her voice holds up sufficiently for a dance track. That doesn't live up to the hype around her. It's astounding how much longevity she's had.

Laxyjaney She was cute little Charlene from Neighbours before she went all sexpot. I can assure you that as a 10 year old I was immune to the charms of her (then covered) arse. Grin

At 35 I am still immune to the charms of her (now bare) arse.

I've seen her in an interview admit that she can't dance for toffee and that she knows she hasn't got the best voice in the world. Good luck to her I say. Several of my gay friends adore her, she's a bit of an icon. I was grateful to her that I had a break from Cher for a while when I was house sharing! Grin

Ive seen her in concert-she put on a spectacular show but her voice was pretty dire. I've also seen an interview with her where she admits to singing like a budgie so I think she'd agree with you!

LOL, my fella is an Aussie and he says much the same as you, Midnight.

I do admit she puts on a good show! I remember accidentally catching a bit of one of her live shows played on tv after the event. She was singing Especially For You. The 10 year old former fan I once was emerged unexpectedly, and went ''aah, how cute.''

Then I came to my senses and vomited!

She's rubbish and her selling herself on her prepubescent figure and mannerisms always made me feel a bit queasy.

She's been usurped many times over, she should go and retire and run a donkey sanctuary or something.

I heard a story from the guy who shot the 'Can't get you out of my head' video that the reason.there's so many close ups of her arse was because she was so bad at dancing they had to distract from it

But pretty standard can't sing pop fare afaic. Don't single out Kylie - the rest of them are just as bad, generally with only a 5 note range

The appeal of a Kylie is baffling. Her voice is weak and whiny, admittedly she has had some very catchy pop songs over the years, but vocally she's awful. I'd put Madonna, Britney and Rihanna in the same category, good pop records but terrible voices.

I also don't think she's at all beautiful like she's made out to be. Her sister Dannii is stunning, but I think Kylie is very plain. Huge horsey teeth and a very waxy, over botoxed face.

I hate her voice too, but I can't bring myself to dislike her, she's had some tough times.

She hasn't got a particularly good singing voice, but she is incredibly charming and hard-working and has built a career based on that and being cute.

Waaa-aaay back in the day we used to hang out in the same nightclub. I never met her, but plenty of people I knew did and the consensus was all about how incredibly nice and fun she was.

She has apparently admitted she can't dance for toffee.
