To think Kylie is an irritating squeaking budgie who can't sing?

Well, am I?

She's done very well for herself, and I respect her as I know she's been through hard times in the past, but she's ubiquitous and annoying.

I loved her when I was a kid but I didn't know any better then.

Anyone else sick of the sight of her?

She's awful. I cant stand her.

At least Madonna was somewhat original.Kylie just basically copies her.Neither have an amazing voice but they know what sells.And i do think Danni is much prettier.
But to be fair i dont know how she is still popular.

In the whole scheme of really annoying people I'd never tire of slapping, Kylie is nowhere.

Isn't that why her career has lasted so long - she is incredibly nice and hard working and nobody in the entertainment industry has a bad word to say about her?

Plus, she has been going since when, 1989? Which is pretty impressive. And it may be pappy pop music but she had got a great back catalogue of great pop songs.

YANBU. I saw one of her tours and it was dire. Words cannot express how bad it was, made worse by the fact that the props and sets and costumes were explicitly designed to keep us distracted from the singing, so she had to change every 4 numbers. Way to kill a show.

But that said, I still love her. I think she's managed to survive the music business and while she doesn't exactly keep her clothes on she's not hypersexualised.

She is also very honest about herself, her abilities and is able to take the piss out of herself which I find refreshing.

Rubbish reed thin voice and pretty forgettable musical output, the only songs of hers I like are the ones that remind me of being 11. 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' must surely be the song that they play on loop in purgatory.

Even still, she doesn't annoy me at all! Well done to her for creating a 25 year career out of little musical talent. She's a grafter, she's quite self deprecating, she seems like a good laugh, she's been through ill health and lots of crap men. She's a national institution at this stage and I don't see her going anywhere.

(I do wish she'd relax with the botox though)

she has an ok voice, not a great dancer (pretty crap for all the training she must have had) but a perfect pop star, nothing offensive about her, she puts on a good show and she has had a good management team behind her i quite like her

but she can not be compared to Madonna, she is a legend. Madonna has changed the music industry for women, push boundaries and who would have thought 25 years ago she would still be the top earning female performer. she has total control over her career unlike Kylie who is a puppet for others but a nice one :)

The thing I like about Kylie is that she is one of the few pop divas that doesn't seem to think she is some sort of goddess. She comes across as being happy to be a 'pop' star and doesn't seem to have the need for everyone to see her as some great meaningful 'artist'.

I can't stand her music or voice though. She also looks a bit strange now - I don't know if its because of plastic surgery or not but her face looks odd.

She has never had strong vocals. She has sex appeal according to most men which goes a long way.

I think the thing bout Kylie she knows her limitations.But she doesnt have the global appeal and i think thats her downfall.

Whenever I see her I think of Next. They seem to play her music in there all the time.

Yanbu. Kylie is shit. But Madonna is worse. How that woman ever made a career in music I will never know. Her voice is horrible.
