To really hate some Soap characters....

I know it isn't real but some characters make me want to either scream or vomit!

The top two contenders are the vile Sharon and her son 'Denny' in Eastenders!! Are some mothers really as blind sighted as she when it comes to her horrible son??

Anyone else??

I can't even watch kirsty on strictly come dancing. I find it so hard to detach her from her corrie character!!!

I dont have that problem with anyone else!

I want Darren in Hollyoaks to have a long, slow grisly death.

He's just too smug. And ridiculously stupid but can't see it.

I hate "Fatboy" and "Tamwar"...Tamwar isn't even a Muslim name....I don't think it's a name at all. He's like a piece of dead wood drifting along with a horrible monotonous tone of voice. I don't understand his point in the whole programme. He's not even funny.

Fatboy is just annoying for obvious reasons.

I have too much time on my hands watching EE.

I can't stand Sally and Gail from Corrie either. It's Gail's chin (or lack of) and mouth and Sally's accent.
I don't like Debbie from Emmerdale either. She's so vile and rude I can't understand why everyone runs around after her.

I don't watch telly soaps but I've been listening to The Archers since childhood and find all the characters intensely irritating, some I outright detest.

Ive had to stop watching EE completely, all the characters were annoying me!

I actually had to stop watching Hollyoaks due because of Mercedes.

Tracey Barlow is such a vicious, manipulative, lying, spiteful convicted murderer. Deirdre is as blind as Sharon from EE when it comes to being blinded by parental love. I know Our Chesneys a good lad but I can't stand his face, his nose seems to fill the screen whenever he's in a scene. I hate Samantha Janus' character in Mount Pleasant, another manipulative, scheming lying bitch. Ryan from Corries fit but shit. I'm not keen on that whiny sister of Leanne's from Corrie and I can't stand Peter Barlow either, his characters loathsome and he looks like an elderly and confused owl.

Sharon and Denny from Eastenders and Sienna from Hollyoaks. Especially Sienna though. I loved Nancy and Darren together and hate her from pulling them apart. I also hate Darren for being such an arsehole and abandoning his sick wife.

Oh the Archers.... I don't know who irritates me the most out of....

There are too many irritating soap characters to list, but I still can't help watching some of them (Corrie and Eastenders primarily).

Honourable mentions for major irritation go to the following, off the top of my head and without too much thought:

Kat in EE (horrible over-acting and very annoying speech)
Sharon in EE (vile person and with that nasty brat of a son)
Norris in CS (quite funny sometimes, but I'd love to smack his face)
Ronnie in EE (terrible, whiney acting)
Gail in CS (where IS her chin?? Is she ET's mother?)
Carl in EE (what a nasty piece of work!)

There are many others, but these few came straight to mind.

I need to stop watching EE too. It's more habit now than anything else. I certainly don't enjoy it anymore.

EE is definitely not what it used to be. I get so sick of all the quasi-touchy-feely crap, rather than actually having some decent stories with some action and decent cliff-hangers.

Corrie is where it's at these days.

I am not enamoured of Liz McDonald's return. Even though she's nearly learned her lines.

And not so much the characters, but far too much of the gangster stuff in River City.

I am sure 'Kirsty' won't win Strictly, because too many people identify her with the husband beater on Corrie. That's why they're coming out with this PR hype about her bad back, as they know she's good, but she hasn't got the public behind her. My theory!!!

Maybe she could appear in the next episode her her Strictly get-up, and ask Tyrone for forgiveness, so that she can move on.

Tracey is just vile and I hate her - although some of her lines are excellent. I just don't believe that anyone could be that awful. Why Liz didn't bar her from the Rovers yesterday I don't know.
