Tattoo addiction

Anyone else watching 'tattoo addiction'? 'Rape me' on Jordan image, an image of Victorian woman reading a book about anal sex and Audrey Hepburn with some ball& chain in her mouth. Fuck me. AIBU to wonder who would do those tattoos? Surely there should be some regs about what's acceptable? It's public viewing after all? So much for 'body art'.

YABU - people have the right to do what they want with their own body even if that means they have offensive tattoos! I have 9 tattoos (none offensive!) and they are not on show - however I reserve the right to have whatever I want tattooed on any part of my body!

I agree op, yes he can have what he wants on his body, but it's bloody disgusting having that on his body. I think it would puta lot of potential partners off!

I see the point but where do you draw the line? There are always going to be morons like that but you can't stop people having what they want tattooed on them. People like that do it for attention but I would bet a month's salary that no decent human being would go within 20 feet of him.

Whilst people should have the right to do it, others also have the right to judge them. And on the plus side, if you have 100% cunt tattooed on you, it saves people from wasting time finding that out!

Re offensive tattoos, surely the same rules should apply as to posting things onto say the outside of your home? If it's too offensive to stick up in the window, surely it's too offensive to write on a part of your body that you would reasonably expect to be on public display at some time?

Haven't watched programme btw.

I think the problem is irresponsible tattooists not giving a toss about the art and not going a toss about the people they're tattooing
The adolf hitler was the final straw for me, I can not stand that tattooist

I think they only did the hitler tat for the cameras and both instantly regretted it after hearing the polish guy speaking. That or they really didn't give a shit about his opinions and are racist fucking arses. I'm thinking a mix of doing it for the camera and being racist arses.

"Offensive tattoos" are subjective, but tattoos stating or depicting illegal acts should be allowed to be done by legitimate tattoo artists.

What next, child porn?

I know many ex "skin head/basher" supporters, who have gone on to get their tats covered or removed.

Errors of judgements in un-lightened times is one thing, but having an illegal form of sexual violence, suffered the world over, by one half of the population, permanently printed on your body, is something entirely different.

Funnily enough I thought the guy with all the tattoos came across fairly well when he was just chatting to the camera. And then they showed the tattoos, and he was idenified as the vile mysoginist prick that he is. At least they serve as a very clear indication of his personality.

The man with the Hitler tattoo had it done, because he owed the artist a couple of favours, and in return gave the tattooist free rein to do as he liked.
I felt really uncomfortable about that - what favours exactly, command such a high price ? He didnt sound that sharp tbh, but the tattooist knew exactly what he was doing.
He sounded like a sadist to me.

Oh absolutely. But there's a huge difference between judging someone and banning or making such tattoos illegal as some are calling for.

I think these people absolutely should be allowed to have these vile tattoos, makes it easier for the rest of us to avoid them when they've signposted so clearly that they are a vile cunt!
