I LOVE sniiffing Colman's Horseradish Sauce, it makes my brain tingle.

I also get a thrill from slicing ripe avocados, the way that the knife slips through the flesh is enormously satisfying.

Am I the only one who doesn't get off on a bar of Dairy Milk?

Glad I'm not the only pickled onion vinegar drinker. I can't put the jar back without a quick slurp.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 18/09/2013 21:11

Once, 15 years ago or so, I had a rogue packet of Wotsits which had a solid lump of moist, congealed Wotsit seasoning lurking at the bottom - about the size of a grape. I still remember it fondly.

droppedscones · 18/09/2013 21:33

Hula hoops filled with dairy lea.
Marmite, cheddar and mint sauce white bread sandwich. I don't know why.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 18/09/2013 21:57

Pitta bread spread with French's American mustard.

Two teaspoons of Nutella microwaved with a splash of rum for 10 seconds. The perfect nightcap for a 3 am finish.

Knorr stock cubes.

Lime pickle mayonnaise.

-Ready salted crisps with tomato cup-a-soup powder sprinkled on top.

-Raw carrot dipped into salad cream (salad cream was the hummus of the 70s!).

-I drink balsamic vinegar from the bottle.

-As a child i'd lick the flavouring off crisps, put them back in the bag and then eat the flavourless soggy bagfull (I've grown out of that one!).

-I used to love a bowl of dried milk for supper. I'd dip my tounge into the powder until it had all gone.

-Cheese and chocolate alternating mouthfulls. Also gerkins and jellybean alternating mouthfuls. This was each mouthful was a shock to my tastebuds.

-The only way to eat ice cream is to first stir it around the bowl briskly until it is the consistency of soup.

-Fresh bread must be sliced thickly, buttered folded over on itself and squashed until totally flat and doughy...Paul Hollywood would have a fit!

MsIngaFewmarbles · 18/09/2013 22:06

Cheesy doritos. I lick all the flavour off them before eating the crisp. I once found a chunk of the flavouring in the bottom of the bag, I let it melt in my mouth for aaaages

Alisvolatpropiis · 18/09/2013 22:14

pianodoodle

Me too!

Less normal - myself and the majority of my nursery classmates (2-4) used to take our biscuits at break (remember the NICE ones and the malt biscuits with the cows on them!) and run them under water so they were suitably soggy. That's one of my earliest memories. Assistant was like Shock when she caught us one day!

Original curry pot noodle are a shocking perversion I have. Don't have them often but I seriously enjoy it when I do!

ohmymimi · 18/09/2013 22:20

Never drawn on a banana, but love them with plain, salted crisps.

CaptainUndercrackers · 18/09/2013 22:26

Macdonalds fries dipped in their strawberry milkshake. Or even better, fries dipped one end in ketchup and one end in the milkshake. Yum! Haven't eaen it in years as it's just so unhealthy. But it's fantastic, cold and hot, sweet and salty, mmmmmmmmm.

Dogsmom · 18/09/2013 22:48

Place mini eggs or smarties on top of the gas fire, flip them once so they are warm through then serve.

lagertops · 18/09/2013 22:50

A tin of John West clams drained into a jar and topped up with malt vinegar and a teaspoon of salt, then put into the fridge for the day so its chilled. Delicious.

Weenugget · 18/09/2013 23:05

Dogmom - that sounds amazing, would work well with minstrels mmmmm!
I love to eat the crispy almost burnt cheesy bits off the toasty maker!

wordfactory · 18/09/2013 23:07

A few spoons of coleslaw stired into scrambles eggs.

Weenugget · 18/09/2013 23:08

Alis you just reminded me! Nice biscuits dipped in diluting orange and then suck the juice out that was my nursery ritual!

ChubbyKitty · 18/09/2013 23:32

Hard boiled eggs. Shoved in whole.

RepeatedlyBlush

Eggs are the best.

Also cheese. Cheese everywhere.

Maggietess · 18/09/2013 23:54

kendoddsdad no no noooo don't ruin the fab tayto cheese and onion with bread! Angry I don't do crisp sandwiches...

But if you gave me nutty crust first then tayto after, good woman, sounds yum!!! Wink

Maggietess · 18/09/2013 23:57

And speaking of nutty crust, northern Ireland does the best bread in the whole wide world! From soda, wheaten and potato bread to seeded and nutty crusts, to browns, whites, pancakes, muffins and then naans, tortillas, ciabatta, and everything in between we LOVE OUR BREAD!

Blont · 19/09/2013 04:26

Anchovy, olive and jalapeno pizza.

BusyCee · 19/09/2013 05:38

Crunchy health food shop peanut butter (that's really good for you because it's just peanuts and their skins, blah blah) generously slathered on a door step of granary bread, and then liberally sprinkled with salt and chilli flakes.

Baked potato skins thickly spread with butter and salt. Best if the fluffy potato inside is dispensed with quickly so the skins are still warm enough to melt the butter

Yorkshire puddings with golden syrup.

Halloumi. Love the squeaking on my teeth

KenDoddsDadsDog · 19/09/2013 07:02

Maggietess I was introduced to the Tayto sandwich by Irish DH. We are going over tomorrow and I know Nutty Krust toast will be first on the menu !

BeKindToYourKnees · 19/09/2013 09:21

Yes to squeaky halloumi!

WhatAFunnyPotato · 19/09/2013 09:36

As a bairn I'd sit on the floor by the fridge when my mum wasn't looking and eat Wee Willie Winkie sausages (remember them, anyone?!) out of the packet - raw.

Philadelphia, strawberry jam and Vegemite sandwiches.

Philadelphia on ginger biscuits.

Sriracha chilli sauce on EVERYTHING.

Seriously, writing on bananas is a 'thing'?! Shock

Maggietess · 19/09/2013 10:07

kendoddsdadsdog yum, enjoy! I had it for my brekkie this morning!

Lweji · 19/09/2013 10:28

I love butter and mayo and can eat them with a spoon. Blush
