I LOVE sniiffing Colman's Horseradish Sauce, it makes my brain tingle.

I also get a thrill from slicing ripe avocados, the way that the knife slips through the flesh is enormously satisfying.

Am I the only one who doesn't get off on a bar of Dairy Milk?

thick salty butter on , well, everything

Pennyacrossthehall · 17/09/2013 22:15

Lime pickle. From the jar.
Tabsaco chipotle sauce, on its own or on anything.
Chilli jam and cheese (preferably manchego) sandwiches.

Essentially, anything with chillies in.

I died a little bit when Sainsburys stopped selling their chilli peanuts. All the other brands are pale, crappy imitations. Sad

pianodoodle · 17/09/2013 22:16

I deliberately leave biscuit packets open so they go soft :)

squoosh · 17/09/2013 22:18

I like to eat a ball of mozarella like an apple.

MyCarHasBrokenDownAgain · 17/09/2013 22:32

Tomato puree .. straight from the tube! Grin

FatPenguin · 17/09/2013 22:42

Apple and philadelphia sandwich.

FatPenguin · 17/09/2013 22:43

Cheese toastie dipped in tea

Dobbiesmum · 17/09/2013 22:45

The skin off a crispy duck from the Chinese.
Chicken meat in the fat when I put the bird on the plate to carve
Walkers prawn cocktail crisp sandwiches
Grated cheddar and tomato ketchup sandwiches

And the smell of a good malt whiskey. Not the taste, just the peaty smell
Grin

LeGavrOrf · 17/09/2013 22:46

Chips and salad cream.

Marmalade and cheese though I think that's sensible despite my family thinking it strange.

Raw stuffing. I always make double as I stand in the kitchen eating it out of the bowl, with a drugged up look on my face.

idiot55 · 17/09/2013 22:53

A date sandwich, brown bread

Cuddlydragon · 17/09/2013 22:55

Ready salted crisps dripping in malt vinegar. Eat quickly before they get soggy.

ShabbyButNotChic · 17/09/2013 22:57

I love bananas dipped in marmite....me and my dad would eat this when i was a kid and my brother would actually gag he thought it was so gross!

Also love chips gravy and salad cream, so wrong but so right!
And any sandwich tastes better when its got crisps in. And been squashed. Fact.

Jolleigh · 17/09/2013 23:00

Seafood sauce sandwiches. NOT thousand island...it's not allowed bits in it.

Plain spaghetti, smothered in the hottest chilli sauce I can find.

Pie sandwiches (I've started a bit of a Mexican wave in my antenatal forum with this one Wink )

OH has cheddar and honey on pancakes Envy

LeGavrOrf · 17/09/2013 23:03

Pie sandwiches? What kind of pie? I'm intrigued.

Jolleigh · 17/09/2013 23:10

Pick your poison LeGavr - I like to mix it up. Always great if the pie has potato in it though...triple carb heaven Wink Must be on cheap white sliced bread (think warbies) and spread with Lurpack. 1 pie gets you at least 2 butties Grin

LeGavrOrf · 17/09/2013 23:14

I think that sounds like pregnancy scoff heaven!

BitterOldOtter · 17/09/2013 23:15

Folded crisps.
Vimto in milk.
Jalapeños on everything.
Slicing a pork pie and dipping in brown sauce.
Raw mushrooms.
All the red sweets from a bag.

WilsonFrickett · 17/09/2013 23:26

For mycar - Wilson's childhood pizza.

Toast one side of a slice of white bread under the grill.

Spread tomato purée on the untoasted side. Add thinly sliced raw mushrooms and thin slices of plastic cheese. Put back under the grill till the cheese melts.

iklboo · 17/09/2013 23:47

Ohhhh. Meat & potato pie butty with brown sauce!

Love sliced pork pie, brown sauce, really strong cheddar and salt & vinegar crisps. Mmmmmm. Bloody diet!!! Grin

Maggietess · 18/09/2013 00:35

Cheese on everything... Especially good on cheese barn loaves, then out of under the grill with a dash of cayenne..... Yum yum

Sour cream/pepper sauce to dip all chips in. Every time we go to a restaurant I ask for a side of pepper sauce for the chips!

And, not so much a food perversion just summat you English/Scottish/Welsh folk have yet to recognise is food of the gods... TAYTO CHEESE & ONION CRISPS! Used to get them shipped to me in America when I was working there... Amazing and the only real food staple needed! (yellow pack true northern style people, none of your southern wimpy mild blue and red flavour Wink Grin )

LulaPalooza · 18/09/2013 00:54

pianodoodle I do that with jaffa cakes too. I also have a similar approach to Ferrero Rocher... nibble off the outer layer of nutty chocolate; carefully break the wafer ball in half and lick the chocolate out. Carefully lick all the chocolate off the hazelnut and set aside. Eat the wafer ball bits. Finally eat the hazelnut.

daisychain01 · 18/09/2013 06:12

DS always gives me the foil top of his yoghurt so I can lick the thick yoghurt off. Best bit. He hates it, but it is much nicer than the thin stuff in the pot!

daisychain01 · 18/09/2013 06:15

Bitter, yes to doubled-over crisps, especially Kettle chips. I ever search through the packet and confiscate them!

Allalonenow · 18/09/2013 06:44

White bread fried in pork or beef dripping.
Fried tomatoes with white bead to mop up the juice.
Any hot ooooozzzzyyyy cheese, especially Camembert, with something crunchy & garlicy to dip in to it.
Hot crispy roast chicken skin.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 18/09/2013 07:10

Maggietess Tesco sell good old norn iron Tayto in their Irish food section . Tayto and Nutty Krust sandwich !
