To think that anyone who still has their (huge) Glastonbury festival parking pass on their windscreen is a little bit of a twat?

Or am I just jealous? Grin

It was nearly three sodding months ago after all.

They are remembering something they enjoyed.
I'd find it very cheering as I staggered off to work on a foul morning in November to look at my Glasto pass if I had one.
I've seen far more annoying labels, usually to do with babies and children. Grin

Yanbu! It is a little bit twattish!

ninilegsintheair · 13/09/2013 16:27

YANBU. It's the people who go every year and leave every massive pass in their windscreen that piss me off. Yeah yeah, you're not as cool as you like to think you are.

dirtyface · 13/09/2013 16:28

yanbu

i think most glastonbury attendees ARE twats, tbh

Branleuse · 13/09/2013 16:29

awww its only like a festival tshirt but for their car, innit?

OctopusWrangler · 13/09/2013 16:30

They're the same wallies who keep every wristband until they fall off in the shower too. Growing up must be damn hard.

mummymeister · 13/09/2013 16:30

yep branleuse and they get on my nerves as well!

SilverApples · 13/09/2013 16:30

So, no generosity of spirit here then? Grin
All well jel?

Hopasholic · 13/09/2013 16:31

Peace n love Smile

Hegsy · 13/09/2013 16:31

YABU I still have my titp parking pass on my car from july. It makes me smile and think of the fab time I had with my cousin especially since her mums decided she wants nothing to do with us Hmm

dexter73 · 13/09/2013 16:31

Why would I be jealous that they have an out of date sticker in their window?!

SilverApples · 13/09/2013 16:32

Or like those twats that dye their hair.
You're not as young as you think you are?

SilverApples · 13/09/2013 16:32

See, Hegsy, that's exactly what I thought.
Makes you remember a happy time.

Hopasholic · 13/09/2013 16:35

Lol at 'Glastonbury Attendees'

Yup we're all twats.

welshweasel · 13/09/2013 16:35

It's because they are a complete bugger to get off - tried the last time and ended up with half still stuck on which looked even worse. Tried white spirit to no avail. Ended up having windscreen replaced due to a crack shortly before Glasto this year. Not even tried to remove this one. It's a pain. I don't want it there. I have memories and photos to remind me how much fun I had.

DuelingFanjo · 13/09/2013 16:36

or the twats who keep a piece of their child's hair. Or do those horrible baby footprint casts.

Urgghh - or get their baby photographed on feathers with a wooly hat on, or worse a feathery headband. bleurgh.

Baby on board signs - rah rah - good for you - you have a baby on board. Whatevs.

NorbertDentressangle · 13/09/2013 16:37

Sounds like our neighbour who had her Big Chill pass in her car window for ages after the event.

She is about 50yo so not exactly a teenager trying to impress their mates that was her daughter who wore the wrist band until it was in tatters and is so desperate to be cool that its painful to watch

dexter73 · 13/09/2013 16:37

Try a bit of WD40.

DuelingFanjo · 13/09/2013 16:38

never a bad time to festival song with Adam Buxton!

DameDeepRedBetty · 13/09/2013 16:40

DP still has Beautiful Days 2007 on the Transit. Blush

meganorks · 13/09/2013 16:40

More twatish I think -someone near me has the last 4 years worth of national trust car parking stickers!

Hegsy · 13/09/2013 16:41

Yup silver especially when stuck on the m8 on a monday morning Smile

runningforthebusinheels · 13/09/2013 16:42

You're jealous. As am I Grin

ILetHimKeep20Quid · 13/09/2013 16:44

Not as bad as the rank cretins who wear the wristbands. A girl that works in my local Costa has about 10 festival bands on her wrist so fuck knows how old some of them are. Yuk.

dirtyface · 13/09/2013 17:22

ooh yes and YUK to keeping festival bands on :(
