To think that anyone who still has their (huge) Glastonbury festival parking pass on their windscreen is a little bit of a twat?

Or am I just jealous? Grin

It was nearly three sodding months ago after all.

YANBU :o

When DD returned from Reading a couple of years ago she kept her wristband on for aaaages. I told her then it made her look like a twat.

I go to Glastonbury and I dye my hair (it's pink at the moment). I never realised I was so offensive. Good job I don't care, isn't it?

The sticker is off the car though. It's on our caravan window instead. And I took my waistband off as soon as I got home as it got in the way when doing nappy changes.

i think its almost excusable in teens

i actually remember doing the same, just so everyone noticed and saw i was soooo cool and alternative cos i had been to reading / donington / whatever Blush

Me thinks your envy

whois · 13/09/2013 19:36

It's not twattish, it's just fucking impossible to get off!! Rips to shreds and sticks like buggery to the windscreen :-(

OP I would LOVE for you to come and remove mine for me!

As it is, spending half an hour with a tub if hot water and a sponge getting it off just doesn't appeal.

whois · 13/09/2013 19:37

Wrist bands still on is gross tho. Especially at work in a suit!

MissBeehiving · 13/09/2013 19:39

I've got my small livestock Norfolk Show parking sticker on my car from June. Is that as bad?

sonofapreacherman · 13/09/2013 19:44

Can I just say that I haven't been to Glastonbury since 1995 but I am utterly bone idle when it comes to my car.

If I had have been to Glastonbury this year the car sticker would definitely still be there - along with the center parcs sticker I was given 2 years ago and mountains of teddies, old coke cans and cereal bar wrappers.

ILikeBirds · 13/09/2013 19:47

I have half a parking pass on my window (not Glastonbury). If it's anything like that to remove then they are not unreasonable for still having it in place 3 months later. I must dig out the white spirit and see if I can get the rest of mine off.

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 13/09/2013 19:49

Wristbands, that's just disgusting.

Car stickers? Who actually gives a shit.

I went to Glastonbury the year of brilliant sunshine. I think I actually had withdrawal symptoms the week after, it was just so good.

fieldfare · 13/09/2013 19:59

Nope, I'm not a little bit of a twat. Although its in my campervan window and not on my car. I also dye my hair, it's plum atm, so I suppose that makes me a twat as well. Just as well I couldn't give a flying figgy pudding what anyone else thinks. I like the reminder and every time I see it, it makes me smile and remember the fantastic time we had.

Doubtfuldaphne · 13/09/2013 21:48

My dh is like this. As a musician he finally got his 'artists pass' for the car this summer at festivals and I am SO embarrassed its still there in the front for all to see.. What a show off!

Snoopingforsoup · 13/09/2013 22:07

sharpintakeofbreath OP you must live in my street. I was thinking that about the twats next door but one!

Souredstones · 13/09/2013 22:18

Car stickers, no problem, they are a bugger to get off.

Wristbands, rancid.

see my first thoughts would be 'Ah bless' to the teens and equally 'Ah bless' to the oldies( over 30s)

if it makes you feel good then display it.

KatoPotato · 13/09/2013 22:35
