This is not a word.

OP posts:
raisah · 06/09/2013 21:25

Could of
No, it's could have & should have.

It also should be 'I don't want anything' not 'I don't want nothing!' or nuffink as it's pronouncex around my way.

The accent in my area is very interesting as it is a cross between SE London & my big fat gypsy wedding accents. So the grammatical innovations can be very commical.

AKissIsNotAContract · 06/09/2013 21:26

Don't be rediculous

spudmasher · 06/09/2013 21:29

Worse than somethink is......suh ink.....no m to be found. A favourite of my 12 year old nephew.....

monkeyfacegrace · 06/09/2013 21:30

Your need that umbrella.

You'll, YOU'LL fuckwit.

SueDoku · 06/09/2013 22:09

Alright - NO, but it might be all right...

SueDoku · 06/09/2013 22:10

Oh, and my friend who says 'sangwich' - I deserve a medal, 30 years of inward screaming... Grin

TeaLadyExtraordinaire · 06/09/2013 22:11

my sister says: anythink, somethingk, nothingk - and she thinks she is posh and refined Grin

JimmyCorkhill · 06/09/2013 22:11

Aw, I like slider WhataMistaka! Only with the Bristol accent though Grin.

treaclesoda · 06/09/2013 22:17

to me, a slider is a rectangle of ice cream, sandwiched between two wafers, bought from sn ice cream van. I take it this is not the slider in question? Grin

ILetHimKeep20Quid · 06/09/2013 22:17

Chester draws anyone?

UnexpectedStepmum · 06/09/2013 22:18

I hate "obligated", the word is obliged.

InSpaceNooneCanHearYouScream · 06/09/2013 22:25

But obligated is a proper word.... Sorry

Bowlersarm · 06/09/2013 22:27

UnexpectedStepmum what do you mean?

Both obligated, and obliged are proper words.

sittinginthesun · 06/09/2013 22:27

Takes me back to childhood - nufink, somefink, stille'o...

PuppyMonkey · 06/09/2013 22:27

Yabu
Everyfink is better

Anyway,
It is a word, you just wrote it and everyone understood what you meant. That's the joy of the English language. Stop getting on your high hoarse.

sittinginthesun · 06/09/2013 22:28

Oh oh, senior partner of our law firm always says "allegated", instead of alleged. How we laugh.

happyhorse · 06/09/2013 22:39

There's a lot of the suh ink around here. Somefink would be quite refined in comparison.

My dad always says chimley instead of chimney. Why?!

BakeOLiteGirl · 06/09/2013 22:43

There is no such thing as slide in Bristol. It's a slider.

And I remember at school in inner East Bristol some 25 years ago, arx instead of ask was used because of the influence of West Indian culture. I struggle not to say arx to this day.

Bowlersarm · 06/09/2013 22:57

Has anyone said 'secertary' yet?

Ledkr · 06/09/2013 23:06

Agree its bloody annoying and I can't believe so many people say it either.

Tailz · 06/09/2013 23:10

Thereselves

Skelington

WeAreSix · 06/09/2013 23:17

A trombone has a slider... I wouldn't suggest putting it near your bottom though.

MrsOB · 06/09/2013 23:20

My Ex used to say "racialist" instead of "racist"... OMG, used to make me stabby!

LegoDragon · 06/09/2013 23:25

Where we lived, everybody said either evryfin but that's accent. Everythink really annoys me though!

FreckleyGirlAbroad · 06/09/2013 23:51

Expresso......wtaf is an expresso?????
