Following on from the "like if you want to pray for this probably imaginary child and you think puppies are just so cute" crap, a friend has just posted on FB a post about how utterly wonderful it is to have a son containing the line, "You're his first kiss". WTAF?!
I hope DS's first kiss won't be an Oedipal affair with his mum! The girl/boy who is the first to kiss him will be roughly his age and unrelated to him, I hope!

OP posts:
DSJamesHathaway · 04/09/2013 20:12

Yup, that's definitely weird.

McNewPants2013 · 04/09/2013 20:15

I was the first one to kiss DS.

it doesn't actually state the first romantic kiss

squoosh · 04/09/2013 20:18

Schmaltz with a top note of puke and an aroma of 'no whore will ever be good enough for Mummy's prince'.

Icelollycraving · 04/09/2013 20:19

My friend had that on fb today. I also was a little Hmm
You wouldn't say about a daughter that her first kiss would be with you. It's just fb nonsense.

phantomnamechanger · 04/09/2013 20:21

Yuk.
Imagine a dad saying that about his DD!

Ezio · 04/09/2013 20:29

I always thought first kiss was talking about first romantic kiss.

and yeah, it is a bit weird.

That appeared in my newsfeed this evening and I wholeheartedly agree, Vomit inducing.

AKissIsNotAContract · 04/09/2013 21:46

Are you all friends with the same vomity mum or is this one doing the rounds?

PresidentServalan · 04/09/2013 21:50

YADNBU! That's grim - I would have to de-friend!

CocacolaMum · 04/09/2013 21:52

HA I could just imagine ds' response if I was to say I was his first kiss. vomiosa indeed

BehindLockNumberNine · 04/09/2013 21:55

Bleurgh!

thefirstmrsrochester · 04/09/2013 22:16

squoosh Grin
Screenshot the page & save it for posterity until the baby is grown & present inside wedding day card

Balaboosta · 05/09/2013 06:46

De-friend!

Souredstones · 05/09/2013 07:55

Also appeared in my feed last night too. Had the same vomitus reaction

mrsfuzzy · 05/09/2013 08:14

gross thought, but then 90% of fb is utter crap anyway from what i'm told, why bother? i wouldn't have an account if you paid me.

MaMattoo · 05/09/2013 08:18

That's proper weird! Yuck. His first kiss would be something he should remember. I would not mind being seen as his first snugly cuddle that welcomed him into the world. And that's it.
Fb comes up with some really silly things..I would not defriend but would definitely comment!!

pianodoodle · 05/09/2013 08:22

Schmaltz with a top note of puke and an aroma of 'no whore will ever be good enough for Mummy's prince

Pahaha! Well quite :)

catinabox · 05/09/2013 08:28

Ha Ha. Yes, I've seen this too...

it just made me a bit Confused

nowt as strange as folk!

CatAmongThePigeons · 05/09/2013 08:31

I saw it yesterday, must be doing the rounds. I did Hmm when I saw it.

KoalaFace · 05/09/2013 08:34

{shudder}

I haven't have a Facebook account for 2 years and I get much less rage but I also have less snorting at some of the tripe it produces!

CotedePablo · 05/09/2013 10:39

I saw it yesterday too, and thought it was a bit weird. Sadly, it was my daughter's fiance's mother who had posted it. Don't think she'd take too kindly to me defriending her.

Growlithe · 05/09/2013 10:39

When mine started school nursery all the parents were waiting outside at hometime. One of them said 'It's like a date isn't it?'. I smiled and said 'Eh?' And she said 'You know, the excitement you get when you are meeting a date'. Hmm

Reverse, reverse.

SarahAndFuck · 05/09/2013 10:46

I saw that this morning and was a bit Hmm at it. Does it have a woman sitting on the grass and rubbing noses with a little boy as a picture? Lots of fluffy white clouds behind them? And at the bottom it urges you to share "if you will always love your little boy"?

Do you think we might all have the same friend?

Growwlithe just Shock at yours. DS is having his first full day at school. I'm a little worried about how he will cope at lunchtime, and looking forward to seeing him at the end of the day to find out how today went, but it's nothing like a date. That's just...odd. Confused

KoalaFace · 05/09/2013 10:47

Cote oh no your poor daughter!! Her fiance's mum is telling everyone she was his first kiss? She's in for some MIL threads in the future I reckon!
