Have NC-d in case this isn't normal. Naice ham, gluezilla, yoni etc.

Do you wee in the shower? I never used to and would have thought it pretty disgusting. But since having DC things aren't as they used to be & now if I need to, I just go.

AIBU?

Fair enough!

limitedperiodonly · 09/08/2013 12:37

Grin gobblers

No, coffee.

Possibly that's only because I've never used a mooncup. I wouldn't like to say what I might do in an emergency.

soontobeslendergirl · 09/08/2013 12:52

Folk Nooooooooo I actually don't think i could - I have trouble weeing if there is someone in the toilet cubicle next to me in public/work toilets....I have a lot of self control....... i have been known to just flush and hand wash etc as if I have been then sneak back when it is quieter.

Don't have any problem in a busy pub after a few drinks strangely......maybe I should try having a shower then? :o

KatoPotato · 09/08/2013 12:53

Wee in the Shower? Standard!

Wee in the bath?...

soontobeslendergirl · 09/08/2013 12:53

In busy pub toilets that should read, I don't wee on their carpets in the actual bar!

soontobeslendergirl · 09/08/2013 12:54

okay,

I have now concluded that I am a bit uptight and have wee issues.....who knew!! :o

HandMini · 09/08/2013 12:59

I wee in the shower. It's always a race between me and my pelvic floor to see if I can get the water adjusted to a perfect temp before....weeeeee!

Greavesey · 09/08/2013 14:14

obviously i dont go into the shower intending to wee, but will if the mood takes me. Trying to get it all direct in the plughole is fun

WhiteandGreen · 09/08/2013 14:25

Yep.

Borntobeamum · 09/08/2013 14:34

Question for all you shower pee'ers.

Do you Pee in the pool too?!

SoupDragon · 09/08/2013 14:38

How is that at all similar?

TiggyD · 09/08/2013 14:39

It's gross. Stop it now all you pissy women!

cocolepew · 09/08/2013 14:42

I go to the loo then have a shower and still pee. The joys of urge incontinence. There's no way I can hold it and get out and go to the loo again.

Meid · 09/08/2013 14:46

It has never crossed my mind to. I wee before getting in the shower, always have done and have taught my DCs to do the same.

Surely the feeling of wee down your legs and onto your feet is uncomfortable? Even if only for a few moments before you wash the area?

IfIonlyhadsomesleep · 09/08/2013 14:51

I think this falls into the category of things that logically are fine to do (and I do, by the way) but when said in the cold light of day sound a bit weird and gross. Whoever asked up thread would we mind if a guest peed in the shower, my answer is that I wouldn't mind, but I would rather they didn't come to the breakfast table after their shower and tell me! I'm not prudish, but there aren't many of my friends' bodily functions I particularly want to know about in detail.

With regard to the hygiene-our new loo has such a pathetic flush that I think a shower pee gets a better, swooshier send off than those in the toilet bowl. And there I will leave it.

IfIonlyhadsomesleep · 09/08/2013 14:53

Of course I don't pee in the pool. I don't wish to swim in dilute wee. Although with all the kids in there I guess I am anyway.

Baths and swimming pools are equivalents. Showers and swimming pools are not. I don't pee in the bath.

IfIonlyhadsomesleep · 09/08/2013 14:58

This has reminded me that the midwife advised me to pee in the shower after dd1 was born. Medically advised, I tell you.

limitedperiodonly · 09/08/2013 15:02

It's not the same. I don't have baths because I don't like the idea of sitting in dirty water, even though I know it's not going to be that dirty. It is soap scummy though.

When I wash my face and hands I always do it in running water. I never put the plug in and fill up the sink. That would feel dirty too.

Saiditagain · 09/08/2013 15:02

I don't want to get into the hygiene debate, but I wouldn't advise anyone to wee in the shower.

After the birth of my 2nd child I had some womens health physio to deal with stress and urge incontinence. From the point of urge incontinence the physio said that doing a wee in the shower is really bad.

If you do a wee in the shower your mind makes a link between the sound of running water and going for a wee. Therefore whenever you hear the sound of water starting to run you think you need to wee and in some cases automatically start to wee.

Just a warning to anyone out there who needs a wee as soon as they start the shower!

soontobeslendergirl · 09/08/2013 15:14

IfIonly, she probably meant for a day or so, not for the rest of your life :o

IfIonlyhadsomesleep · 09/08/2013 15:25

I guess, soontobe, but it's clearly not a hygiene disaster to do it. It's not as if she recommended pooing in the shower!
