So much easier and less painful than waxing or circumcising.

curlew and ICBINEG have you met Mr Kettle, he's black you know?

"No one has the right to tell you what to do with your body. Now do exactly what I tell you to with your body."

Please tell me you see the irony?

ICBINEG · 08/08/2013 16:41

erm right...except where did I say what ANYONE had to do?

ballinacup · 08/08/2013 16:45

You've done it constantly! You can dress it up how you like but you are thoroughly convinced that any woman that removes her body hair is wrong and should be completely natural. Don't you see the irony in what you're doing by looking down your nose at the choices of other women? You're no better than the person that told you that you must smell!

Gruntled · 08/08/2013 16:47

When I was at school comments were passed about the 'wrong' brand of clothing or being unfashionable. Are they going to start being bullied over pubic hair styles?
I guess if all the others remove then they will have to do it too so not to stand out.

Jellyandicecreamplease · 08/08/2013 17:00

I am assuming from your comments that you apply this to shaving/waxing underarms and legs as well?

curlew · 08/08/2013 17:31

Choosing to remove your pubic hair because it turns you on is fine. Removing it because you have been convinced it's dirty or disgusting or ugly or unhygienic is not fine. Removing it because a man tells you to is definitley not fine.

WTF Curlew?! I will or will not remove/shave/trim my pubic hair for whatever reason I want.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 08/08/2013 18:20

Curlew - if 20 mumsnetters have seen your dd's pubic hair and have said that it means she is smelly, then I hope you have reported them.

Caster8 · 08/08/2013 18:27

SDT!

curlew, are you really saying that if a woman thinks her own pubic hair is ugly, that she should not remove it because you dont want her to!!
Haha. You had better find me first! And the other 6 million or whatever!

fwiw. Heck, I am not going to talk about what I do with it on here, one way or the other!

I dont know whether to laugh or whether I am supposed to follow you sheep like. Oh no. I forgot, sheep get shorn dont they!

Fakebook · 08/08/2013 18:29

Grin I didn't realise there are conditions attached to why you can remove pubic hair!

Why is it okay to remove it because it turns you on? Surely someone like you would think that you're being conditioned into thinking it turns you on because of porn films.

Caster8 · 08/08/2013 18:30

It isnt really funny is it. And ironic too. A, I presume woman poster, insisting we dont do something.

cantspel · 08/08/2013 18:32

Bring back the 1950's we all had a hairy bush but were controlled by men.
Now we might or might not have a hairy bush and other women want to control us.

Binkyridesagain · 08/08/2013 18:33

I don't think anyone has ever told me what I can do with my pubic hair, maybe because most people respect the fact that it is mine and I can do with it as I wish.

I am thinking of shaving the mumsnet logo into it with AIBU tattooed above.

KirjavaTheCat · 08/08/2013 18:43

But but but... They're just pubes!

Mind boggled.

BaronessTeapot · 08/08/2013 18:45

There are many times on MN when I feel like I am living in a parallel universe - and this is one of them.

EBearhug · 08/08/2013 21:15

No one I know has stopped washing just because they wax or shave or are a man who's been circumcised.

I have known men who don't wash enough, but that's just an occasional occupational hazard of working in a very geeky area of IT. I've not wanted to get close enough to find out if they were circumcised or not, nor whether they remove hair from any part of their bodies other than their face.

But I think it is not washing that's likely to make people smell, rather than hair removal or not.
