To think that God wouldn't mind DB being gay

My DM has found religion in the last couple of years and has become quite vocal on certain issues including gay marriage. My DB is gay and whilst she accepts him she doesn't believe he should be able to marry, even lobbied her local mp to vote against it. I'm no theologist but surely if you believe God created man then he created homosexuals as well as heterosexuals and if not then DB is somehow choosing to be gay?

Gay unions- fine. Gay marriage in a church - up to the church in question.

The CofE is being illogical, I think. They are there for any straight couple in the parish to get married, even if they're not in the slightest bit religious. Yet there are Christian gay couples who go to church every week and are not allowed a church wedding, even in a church with a gay or gay-friendly vicar Oh well, at least the non-conformist churches haven't been banned from conducting gay weddings!
