To be irritated that DS1 has taken the last batteries I was saving for my rabbit?

We spend a fortune on them and I noticed a few left and hey ho, I thought, "I get those later and dust off the old rabbit so DH and I can have some fun". DS1(10) is always popping to the drawer and helping himself to batteries for the x-box controller Hmm.

Bloody hell, I can't even have a wank or bring the "third party" into relations now Grin. I will have to get some more and hide them. We had thousands last week.

When ds1 goes to bed, nick the batteries out of his controller. As long as you put them back he is not going to know.

HeySoulSister · 30/07/2013 14:34

Buy him one if those charge as he plays lead things! About a tenner in Argos?

trashcanjunkie · 30/07/2013 14:35

pah ha ha ha ha ha! the bloody bastards, bad luck old gel!

StuntGirl · 30/07/2013 14:36

Why don't you have a play and charge kit for the xbox? You're just throwing money away buying regular batteries for an xbox controller.

hellsbellsmelons · 30/07/2013 14:38

What beastof said!
Simples!
Enjoy.

cathpip · 30/07/2013 14:44

Take the batteries out when ds has gone to bed, that's just evil what he has done:)!!

ParvatiTheWitch · 30/07/2013 14:44

There won't be any charge left in them by the time I'm finished, phew!

Haha, I maintain the moment I knew I'm a dedicated mum was when I went to remove the batteries from my rabbit so the kids could have them for their Xbox controllers. That's love for you.

But yeah, buy a battery pack and charger lead for the controllers. Saved me a lot of frustration time replacing batteries!

PipkinsPal · 30/07/2013 15:23

Get rechargeables or shake your hand whilst you are using your rabbit Grin

Bowlersarm · 30/07/2013 15:30

Ha ha, and you can't even tell him why you're annoyed.

ParvatiTheWitch · 30/07/2013 15:52

He's had a sour faced "you need to save up to buy a recharger or buy batteries out of your own money". On the way to the park, I stopped at Waitrose to get money out and snuck in to get my own private stash while they were in the car.
I treated myself to Duracell Ultra powers, no less. 'Aint no mother fucker gonna get their hands on those.
I will have my revenge in a few years when Ds hits puberty. I'll be up and down the stairs knocking on his bedroom door like a copper's battering ram on a drug dealer's front door (to nick a phase of Marmalades) every few minutes on the flimsiest of pretexts. Wankus Interuptus anyone?

AKissIsNotAContract · 30/07/2013 15:55

Grin at Wankus Interuptus.

Why don't you upgrade your rabbit to a mains powered vibrator?

ParvatiTheWitch · 30/07/2013 16:04

Perhaps I could have a petrol generator going in the en suite, phut phutting away.
Vroom vroom!
I must say, I haven't had
Much use out of the rabbit and I think DH spent a bit on it. I am slightly intimated by it, and I don't know why.

LittleprincessinGOLDrocks · 30/07/2013 16:06

Get a rechargeable vibe! They are becoming more reasonably priced lately. Go on, treat yourself to an up grade Grin

ClartyCarol · 30/07/2013 16:08

Rabbits are a bit too wham, bam, thank you ma'am if you ask me.

babybearsmummy · 30/07/2013 16:10

You have 2 options IMO:

  1. Buy a battery recharger and rechargeable batteries

  2. Hardwire you rabbit into the mains (just make sure the cable is long enough!)

Lots of luck!

Fifi2406 · 30/07/2013 16:16

Hahahaha! Amazing thread Grin

goodasitgets · 30/07/2013 16:17

Rechargeable is the way forwards. Ann summers ultimate O Wink or a Hitachi wand

ClartyCarol · 30/07/2013 16:21

Hitachi has diversified into sex aids? Shock

goodasitgets · 30/07/2013 16:38

It's the main one, but lovehoney etc sell their own versions

Beastofburden · 30/07/2013 17:40

Yes agree, why should ds get the rechargeable technology, let him have the batteries and you can invest in the latest gear.

Lol at knocking on his door but I don't think he will answer....

peachactiviaminge · 30/07/2013 17:54

Charge and play packs for the 360 are reduced to £2.49 in Argos at the moment.

thebody · 30/07/2013 18:51

you dirty old mare!!!

MyCarHasBrokenDownAgain · 30/07/2013 19:37

Just use the Xbox controller, they vibrate don't they?! Grin

TheYamiOfYawn · 30/07/2013 19:48

Get a rechargeable vibe! Lelo ones are lovely (but expensive).
