I am just astonished how some people have such an absolute lack of filter!

I was just loading some shopping into the pushchair basket outside the shops when a woman I don't know comments, "oh dear, you don't want to be bending down like that". Wtf! It was said in such a disgusted tone as well. I replied "thank you" in a really sarcastic voice but I doubt she noticed...

Now I've lost a lot of weight recently and was wearing a new dress which I love. It's knee-length and not particularly revealing...and DS said it looked beautiful Blush (admittedly he's only 4). So now I feel really self conscious...silly I know. But, just, why would you comment like that to someone you don't know?? As you were just randomly walking past? Surely it's none of your business? And why couldn't I think of a better comeback than thank you???!
