Ah, then you were complaining about pointless trolling threads, and giving out about people giggling at the pretend unintelligent and illiterate, even though you don't know if OP is for real or not?
If its not that, I give up.

It is a bug. You do not need to feed it, you do not need to clean it or clean up after it, and you do not need to walk it.

The pot plant that the bug lives on will require more care than the actual bug.

But the fact that you do not know what bugs eat does indicate that it is probably for the best that you do not want pets.

hiddenhome · 26/07/2013 09:13

rosepettel might be a bit of a pest, but I absolutely love shitty piece of bitch trouble Grin

BabyMakesMyEyesGoSleepy · 26/07/2013 11:33

Madratlady · 26/07/2013 12:13

MNHQ are usually fairly good at keeping on top of hairy handed posters. It makes me think that rosepettel is actually for real Confused

It is not against MN Talk Guidelines to be a little bit bonkers. Grin

Pancakeflipper · 26/07/2013 15:32

Ha ha SparklingB - can you imagine the carnage if MNHQ started deleting us on our bonkers rating?

They'd need to expand their staff number quite a bit.

Sparklingbrook · 26/07/2013 15:45

Yes the Report button should be

a) Spam
b) Bonkers
c) Other reasons

One of my friends at play-school was never allowed a pet. So he found a rock and kept that as a pet instead Hmm

Maybe that might work for your poor pet deprived dd?

Ooh good idea StinkyMoo, and a nice sock would make a lovely bed.

rosepettel · 26/07/2013 21:38

thenx but what do you mean by a rock ?

Oldraver · 26/07/2013 21:48

ewe the caterpillars are lovely..they come in a sealed pot with their food, and you just watch them until they puptae then hang them up in the habitat...We're on our third year with them so we just buy a new pot and reuse the tent thingy.

Non have escaped to eat our ears yet

coffeeinbed · 26/07/2013 21:52

Sad
YouTheCat · 27/07/2013 11:05

I have no idea what is going on but the first page made my eyes bleed. Grin

I used to collect snails in a big old sweet jar (the plastic ones you got 2oz of sherbet lemons from). I'd fill it with leaves and twigs, collect my snails, keep them a few days and then let them go.

Also collected ladybirds in '76 when there were loads of them. And slugs. And I had a pet house spider called 'Fred'. Grin

I once had stick insects. You are supposed to feed them privet or ivy. We had no ivy and I had no idea what privet looked like to I fed them generic bush.

They failed to thrive but lived an astonishingly long time in their coffee jar on my windowsill.

I never ever cut them.
