New thread. :)

OP posts:
pictish · 30/07/2013 21:50

No response is required here.
I wouldn't bother.

QuickQuickSloe · 30/07/2013 21:50

How about

"You're right, you did misunderstand! Sorry to have had to to be the one to point it out to you, but hopefully I have saved you from further embarrassment.

Have a lovely day

Xxxx

babybythesea · 30/07/2013 21:51

"Oh well, I'm glad that's settled then. Have a lovely wedding."

^^ This, as I think it doesn't draw you in further.

But I would love to deliberately misunderstand, and say something like: "Misunderstanding? I don't think there can be - you've just said it's not that big of a deal. I agree - your wedding isn't that big of a deal, and so I'm not that keen to give up loads of my time for it. I've got some important bits and pieces to be getting on with. But enjoy it anyway!

FlankShaftMcWap · 30/07/2013 21:52

I wouldn't reply to that. However if you did...
"well yes, you spectacularly misunderstood the premise of a save the date card. All the best, Tantrums."

wickerdog · 30/07/2013 22:00

Don't reply. One day in the not too distant future, once her head is less filled with matching the colour of the napkins to the bridesmaids' thongs and perfecting her swan dive for the finale of the first dance, she'll miss you and ponder on these exchanges.

Hopefully the shame will be crushing enough to prompt her to apologise. If it isn't, she's no loss.

mynameismskane · 30/07/2013 22:00

The only reply needed is a link to this thread and the first thread... Please!

pigletmania · 30/07/2013 22:02

Just leave it now, she is no friend of yours, what a cheeky mare. Like someone up thread has said, you knew her for so long but really did not know her

emilialuxembourg · 30/07/2013 22:07

Don't reply.

Beastofburden · 30/07/2013 22:08

No reply, I suggest. Shame, what will we do without this thread?

comingintomyown · 30/07/2013 22:09

What wickerdog said

Bogeyface · 30/07/2013 22:11

Reply

"It's not "I didn't think this was that big of a deal", it's "I didn't think this was that big of a deal" Just so you know if you need to reply to any of the other people you have offended. Have a good wedding!"

clam · 30/07/2013 22:11

Yeah, noseymcposey is right. She couldn't give a shit.

Leave it.

Bogeyface · 30/07/2013 22:11

fuck! Second one should have said "I didn't think this was that big a deal"
Durr!

BalloonSlayer · 30/07/2013 22:11

"I didn't think my refusing was that big a deal either. I can't understand why you won't accept it and keep on and on at me trying to get me to do this work for you. You are starting to make yourself seem slightly unhinged. No offence!!! xxx"

pigletmania · 30/07/2013 22:12

That little bit speaks volumes. She does not care about you or the 'frendship' or she would be trying to save it, all she cares for s herself and what you can give her. Consign this 'friendship' to,the dustbin iam afraid

wharrgarbl · 30/07/2013 22:14

The scandalous manners of a pig under a bed. As they say.

Plomino · 30/07/2013 22:15

Of course you could always get to her reception venue before her , paper the walls in copies of this thread and then leave a note on the top table .

'Surprise ! I changed my mind '

That or bin her .

FunLovinBunster · 30/07/2013 22:16

I wouldn't waste another nanosecond of your life thinking about this/sending a reply. Your frenemy clearly has cuntworm tendencies.

Tilly333 · 30/07/2013 22:16

I'm gonna miss this thread

LadyHarrietdeSpook · 30/07/2013 22:17

Please don't be tempted to reply to her. Silence on this case is golden.

DameFanny · 30/07/2013 22:20

Well you could go with a breezy "Righto" and nothing more, which would probably lead to her texting back in a couple of days to see if that means you'll do it after all...

Or go with one of the poems. One of the sweary sweary poems...

pigletmania · 30/07/2013 22:22

Keep your dignity and walk away. You could reply with "I don't kink so, have a great day"

Derailing, but I need to know what "cuntworm tendencies" are! I clearly missed a thread!

Bogeyface · 30/07/2013 22:25

Actually, I think that "Righto!" is a good reply!

It is ambiguous enough to keep the BZ wondering :o
