Why do some of the comments posted have to get quite so bitchy?

I must be naive, but have been shocked at some of the bitchy comments posted by others on here, really new to this, and its quite fascinating how there are people who seem to search out others and keep replying to their threads with just bitchy comments? What has happened to good old debate? Happy to learn, to be given more information so I can maybe reform my initial opinion. Now i am wondering How do these people respond when their family say something they disagree on? Do they swear at them? Hope not! So please don't reply to this thread unless you are going to be reasonable about it.

Ummm is David Tennant coming back as The Doctor? ShockSmile

Tee2072 · 06/07/2013 18:14

Yes. For the 50th Anniversary he is.

And it will, maybe, be Matt's last appearance as the same. Details are iffy.

Yes. A Doctor.

FeegleFion · 06/07/2013 18:18

Oh I wish he was The Doctor, forever Sad

I must confess, I haven't watched more than one episode with the current Doctor because he looks too young and too weird

I loved Christopher Eccleston too Grin DT will always be The Doctor I love best. Wink

Oh Buffy Sad poor DC. It is a scary show, a lot of the time.

I took DD to a Dr Who experience a few years ago. It was a walk through type thing and it was supposed to be real.

The 'Army' burst into the room and said they needed the help of the kids.

They played a distress message from DT who said they needed to help him save the world.

Anyway, those Angels chased us all through until the kids succeeded in their mission.

That was aimed at kids up to the age of 12 and those Angels were bloody frightening.

I want to hear more about what other words Kim's teacher's forum have banned when used in conjunction with the word Gove!

I have seen people ::doing these:: before and never understood. My facebook friends seem to *do this. I which I always fear outs me as a MNer. Though not as much as when I try and do italics and it doesn't do anything.

Every day is a school day.

Because it's not American.

I don't mean that pejoratively, just that American TV is always much more glam and sexy and British TV more 'believable', IYSWIM?

FeegleFion · 06/07/2013 18:35

The most recent Dr Who experience for anyone interested in taking their DC

This one looks great!

I'm American. I don't find Doctor Who all that scary. Perhaps because it was so ridiculous in the early years.

ScrambledSmegs · 06/07/2013 19:01

Oh good. I love a bit of PARD.

So, er, it's going to be the 'human' Doctor that ended up in the alternative universe with Rose Tyler, yes? Because DT as the Doctor would cause our collective pants heads to explode.

ScrambledSmegs · 06/07/2013 19:02

Luther right shit me up this week. Haven't seen anything as scary as that bloke emerging from under the bed in ages.

FeegleFion · 06/07/2013 19:03

I never saw it, as a child, Tee but can imagine Grin ....shaky sets, cardboard bad guys, ham scripts.

That's British TV Gold Grin
